Ottawa_Biatch 288
Hey when you guys or girls are playing poker, how do you stack your chips? Do you just make one huge stack, or do you put them in stacks of 10? Or do you make a pyramid, or a smiley face. Or a bridge. Thanks for the insight.

Thanks for the insight.depends how many i have, and what kind of game im in. with <100 chips, i do stacks of 20. with 100 to 200 ill do stacks of 20 in a triangle, then add on to the base until i hit 250ish, at which point i usually make an octagonal structure with opposing layers. Razorbet 0
I usually turn to the person I just won them from and ask "How would you like me to stack your chips?" Then I take more while that person is playing on tilt.
rogermarks 0
no stacks.just one big messy pile.and always bet in handfuls.i usually just stack them based on value, but if I get low, I put them all in one stack. I think it makes me look like I'm ready to grab it and push it in, and helps me see cheap flops when I'd have to lay down my hand otherwise.

ghoti7four 0
I try to win enough chips that I can form them into a recognizable shape of a giraffe... I know this sounds sarcastic or like I'm trying to be funny, but I really do this. If I don't cash out immediately after the time I make its tongue I usually wind up losing it all until I bet its very last eyeball and cry to myself on the way home.
lind0 0
Other players have a right to know how many chips you have. Some people consider it bad ettiquette to "Barber Pole" your chips. Personally I don't really care one way or the other how you stack your chips, as long as they're easy to count if someone asks.
KillerPanda 0
I put them in stacks of 20, in pyramid form. Once the pyramid gets too big, I usually get a color change and start the pyramid over again, using the larger chip as a card protector.
PHOENIX 0
I keep my chips in a big bowl.
offsuitbluff 0
i stack them in a pyramid and put my arms around them. and i never say all-in , i just push them in the middle.
Lord Ben 0
I keep them in small stacks of 5. Easier to count out that way and in the tourneys I play in we usually don't have that many chips.

711Buddha 0
stacks of 20 - usually like..._____EDGE OF TABLE______ 0 0 0 0 0 To start. The next 25 get added 5 to a stack. Next I add a stack to the front...another one and I take both to the side like this..._____EDGE OF TABLE______ 0 0 0 0 0 0 o Build out the pyramid again, and when I get ten stacks, I color up one rack - use that as a card protector. Repeat.
missIdaho 1
Any suggestions for the most structurely sound way to stack them? (I can't seem to lean forward without knocking them over)

Kadomang 0
I usually take my lower denominations and try to be as creative as possible making stuff out of them and leave the higher ones in seperate stacks. When short stacked I break them into easily recognizable amounts (stacks of 25 are 4 high same with 50's and are set side by side and anythiing higher has there own seperate stacks)Just to let people know I got it all counted out and am ready to push at any moment.
