  1. I couldn't agree more. I was just going to sign up for the 6 person 5$ SNG and seen that there were 24 people waiting to be seated. They are obviously having problems today and people are still signing up to play.A really weird thing happened to me last week. I got seated for a SNG and when the table came up, my seat was 1 to the left from where it was supposed to be (normally it is directly in front of you). So the game starts, cards are dealt and all I can see is half an ace that is directly in front of me and not in front of where my seat is on the screen. I was thinking that maybe m
  2. If you have been a winning player for the last couple of years then you should know how to build a bankroll. I am with Smash on this one... I call your bluff.
  3. Huh? Why are you complaining about the way you played or how you should of smooth called? Because you didn't win enough money right!?? So in essence you were complaining about not winning enough money, and usually when someone complains they are looking for pity....You should have just left well enough alone. You are getting decent advice here from people.
  4. I would not raise pre-flop, witht that many people in the pot chances are you are going to get reraised and have to fold them. With low pocket pairs I think you always want to see a flop as cheap as possible. I thought the OP played this pretty decent.
  5. Last Thursday night our Hold Em game was more aggressive than usual so we finished in about 2.5 hours. So we started playing this game:Everybody is dealt their two hole cards, and then starting with the person after the dealer we went around and if you wanted to be in the hand it cost 3 bucks. Once everyone decided they were in or out we just dealt out the cards as you would in normal hold em. Winner took the entire pot. Not much decision making, except for the first few UTG. If you were in late position and there was already 2 or 3 in you might as well gamble even with 27o. It was actua
  6. Wow, I can hardly believe this! I have seen most of your posts and you always seemed like such a good guy.
  7. I agree. I don't know how he ended up in the HU tourney. I was watching at my parents house and my dad, who knows little to nothing about poker even commented on how terrible and weak he was playing.I think the funniest part or saddest on woods' part was when Chan made a small raise preflop, Woods had Ax, and folded. Firs,t the raise wasn't that big to fold it preflop, and then he showed Chan the ace while folding. He should have just made up a sign that said "I am playing scared".
  8. Hmmm...Paul Philips says - Thats why I don't post here.Smasharoo says- I am never posting here again.Yet, one has a post count and the other has a post count that increases. odd.Long lost brothers?
  9. Good god man, what do you think collusion IS? Secret hand signals a la "Tilt"? In tournament poker, players intentionally not busting one another is essentially the entirety of the collusion problem! It's not collusion, it's just not mixing it up with one of your partners. Wow, that takes balls of steel. "It's not murder, it's just issuing pieces of lead at high velocity that happened to tear through someone's flesh. If they died well that's just something that happens. What can you do." Both those statements may (or may not) be true but if you're equating that with "then it's A-OK" then...
  10. He limped in with aces. He checks on the turn to see if any of the cards on the board were good for you, which you basically yelled out "none of these cards help me" with your follow up check.RazorEdit-Oh yeah, with the info you had after the play of the hand, I probably would have called too. But work on getting info off the players so you don't have to wonder so much. I think his check got info from you, but your check got absolutely no info from him.
  11. Just being curious (or a pain in the rump), but you have over 400 posts to a poker forum, but you are only playing for the first or second time? Boy, you must have really done your studying before deciding to play.Razor
  12. I usually turn to the person I just won them from and ask "How would you like me to stack your chips?" Then I take more while that person is playing on tilt.
  13. yeah, and another thing that doesn't make sense and I could never figure out is... How com Fred Flinstone never won any acting awards? I mean with his longevity and great career.... Boy none of this entertainment business makes sense.
  14. a team of what?Well, 2 white and 13 black flag football playersAlmost KnightUnless someone has a serious name to give them, give up, because you simply cant come up with something as good as this.Good One Fryer98.
  15. I don't know that I ever take the hardest hit on tax day, but since April 15 is my birthday at least I can say that I "get screwed" on my birthday every year.Razor
