makaveliwj 0
I'm not sure, but I think Daniel Negreanu eliminated Susie Isaacs and won a huge pot Hadn't heard that before, where did you get this breaking news??
nicki_mo 0
Actually... if you look at the couple of posts from DN, you will see he went WAY down after a good hand THEN doubled up - at least that is how I was reading it - so I doubt he is anywhere near 100k yet... I'd bet he is still close to the 60k posted last.I also don't get the way they update the chip counts. Mostly, throughout all the events, it seems they focus on the top 10 or so and keep them fairly accurate, then the rest just get updated haphazardly... odd, don't you think? I realize that we are talking 600+ players, but still. Surely they could hit each table every 10 mins or so. :::shrug:::Glad I wasn't off my rocker whne I posted this estimation on chips... with the big pot DN just took down, here is how Poker News is reporting "Daniel Negreanu 145000 85000"... so with the increase of 85k that hand, my estimate around 60k was still right. I just hope that DN plays it cool and doesn't spiral out of control now that he has made a few great hands and pots!

nicki_mo 0
Hadn't heard that before, where did you get this breaking news??15 minutes ago | Posted by MeanGene Daniel Negreanu Eliminates Susie Isaacs and Wins a Huge PotA player in middle position raised to 3,100 and Susie Isaacs and Daniel Negreanu both called. The flop came and the original raiser bet 7,000. Isaacs moved in for 19,700 and Negreanu called. The raiser then moved all-in and had Negreanu covered. "I think I've got you guys crushed...but I'm not sure," Negreanu said before making the call. He turned over pocket Deuces for bottom set while Isaacs held and the other player . The on the turn meant that Isaacs and the other player were drawing dead, and Negreanu now has 145,000.

gkunit20 1
Rick Salomon EliminatedRick Salomon, who rose to fame as the significant other in the scandalous Paris Hilton sex video, has been eliminated from the Main Event. Shame on us for not noticing him earlier, but in our defense, the quality of that video was pretty poor. And we weren't really paying attention to Salomon.Brilliant.
NoxKo 0
If Daniel was all in and covered but only came away with 145K in a 3 player pot, he must have been below 50K before the hand.Where do you get that from?Nobody ever said he tripled up.

NoxKo 0
Ted Forrest Loses Three-way PotHal Labarsky raised 3,200. Ted Forrest called. A player from the button re-raised to 21,000. The big blind raised to 47,000. Labarsky folded. Forrest went into the tank before he called.Seat 1: A-KSeat 3: A-AForrest: {J-Hearts}{J-Diamonds}The flop was {10-Spades}{8-Clubs}{3-Spades}. The turn was the {3-Clubs}. The river was the {6-Hearts}. The player holding pocket Aces tripled up. Forrest took a hit and his stack slipped to 172,000.Labarsky folded 3-3. He would have flopped a set and turned quads.Bad call by Forrest.
