Havent posted in a long while so here goes: I bought into ftp for 150 bucks yesterday to play. Of course not following any br management..jump up to 100nl...lose a couple 2 and 3 outers...have about 90 left... have 70 on the table..do a misclick and lose it all. so I end up with 20 lose a sng and am down to 10. I then go on a sick heater at sngs and end up getting back up to 92. Play today...lose on a bad beat in a sng bring 80 to a sng table..first hand i get 88...hit a set on the turn double up through AA and now Im up at 193 today. I plan to use br management now and play $5 dollar sngs for a little while. Goal for the month: $500 total. I may make it a goal next month if I am still playing a lot to try to get onto the sng low limit leader board...anybody know how hard that is to do? I havent had a br last a month in a while so I want to keep this going so anybody that sees me playing above 25nl gets $10 bucks. That is all.

July has been super fun.
I don't have a graph of July, but just imagine a big spike of +$2k and then a steady fall of -$12k from there.

If I keep playing a lot of sngs and doing alright at them I think I'll get Platinum star easily by the end of the month. Definitely a great way to get FPPs...So far from my rough estimate of what I can get from Sharkscope, my ROI at single table $55 turbos is about 20-25%. Only 100 games though.

gl, those turbos are variance monsters.
Yeah I've been watching a ton of Bax and Sheets sng videos, and from what I can tell I was already playing somewhat close to their 'optimal' strategy, so hopefully I'll be able to sustain it to some degree. Their videos have certainly helped me plug up a few holes, and also to reassure myself that pushing with 73o IS in fact correct in X situation.

Yeah, they're pretty mechanical. I used to play those a ton before I got back into LHE, and there are guys who'll play like 25 of them at once... craziness... feel free to sharkscope money_1985 when you get the chance, he plays a ridiculous amount of the $27s.

JohnnyBax lesson #1 - push any 2 cards here. I'm literally pushing 32o (it just happens that I have a pair), because nobody at the table can call. Raiser can't call with 2 shorter stacks left on the bubble, and short stacks can't call because the raiser might, and they're facing a raise and a reraise. Raiser should obviously be open pushing any hand he's playing, and failing that I believe he's correct to fold anything up to like JJ and AK there (AK is a fold, as he played it). Of course if he knows I have literally random cards his range is a bit wider, but really not by very much. He's folding a ton of hands that would be an instacall 3 handed. Man July has been the weirdest month... I have these great days, then the worst days of my "career", then a good day again, then an awful day, it's so strange. The swings have just been crazy big.Today, I played 1,853 hands between 2/4 and 3/6 (525 and 1,328 respectively), and it went well. lol. Came out to +$417.78, PLUS $80 in bonus money, approximately ~$80 worth of ARPs, and ~$100 worth of RB... again, one of my better days ever, coming off my worst day ever, the other day when I was -$1200. Such a crazy game...Here's today's graph, and then July's overall $$$$ graph.july16iy0.jpgjuly116gi1.jpg

I'm down 2.5k this month.1.8k in donkaments.Cash games have been annoyingly swingy...but it is hu.I think I could get 20k more hands in cash games if I wanted to. I may just play 100nl cause I know that's a guaranteed $5k at least.- Jordan

I'm down ~170 so far this month playing wise through ~15K hands. What's annoying is that I was up a good 200 BBs at 3/6 but down like 60-70 BBs at 5/10, well, now I'm down 60 BBs at 3/6 and up 7 at 5/10. Lol. At least with my rakeback payment that I got I'm still up ~500 and should be clearing a 650 bonus on stars this week. I need to ratchet up my hands and start putting in some 2500-3200 hand days and hope to start running decent at FT

Well finally I am out of a horrible run of cards. I couldn't believe it was luck (suckouts were happening so often) that was killing me and thought it was my play but it looks like it was the cards.Profiting slowly. Trying to work on not paying off bigger hands when I have a half decent one myself.

I had three separate 100 bet downswings at 10/20 in one week, and yet i somehow still was up on the week.Pretty funny.Mediocre results for the month so far given how much i played, but im on pace for about $10,000 and i feel good about how many hours ive been putting in.
