Cardplayer says they are at level 10 right now 1K-2K blinds w/ a 300 ante. Is this accurate?

I've been confronted with this problem time and time again and I'm still not sure what is the most +EV move. What are some of the ideas that people have when being dealt 9's 10's or J's in ep during a cash game. I've had difficulty deciding whether i should raise a large amount, small amount, or no raise at all. A case can be made for all three with different tables and different situations. I guess what I'm asking is what type of tables/situations should I be looking for to limp in with these hands and what types of situations should I be thinking about raising more often against particul

So does this mean that every hustler who has made money off of negotiating a favorable handicap should pay their money back? I play on bodog because it was so easy to get money in there initially, but it was certainly a pain getting it out the first time. Also the software blows. Not only does it look like it was put together by a fifth grader, there are some major issues with things like preselect buttons not woking properly which occasionally can result in an auto fold or auto raise out of nowhere. On the other hand the level of play might be as bad as party was. They also have a full online casino with table games and sports betting. Not sure if that's good or bad but deffinatly -EV.

I don't have an epassporte account as they made were trying to make me sign new terms and agreement that I wasn't comfortable with. Seemed like they had a decent size poker room but allowed smokers (after ??? drinks at the palms). Really, I think it might be a great idea to stay there but I hope we dont show up and find that the room is worth what we payed for it

Booking a spring break trip and thinking about booking at the Gold Coast. I wanted some input about the place as a hotel. We're thinking about staying there because of its next to the Palms and the Rio, and I believe the Rio has a free shuttle that goes at least to other Harrahs casinos which will get us to a lot of places on the strip. We like it because the price is low, but that could also mean the rooms are bad. I've walked through the casino before and it didn't appear to be a complete dump.

Was just watching Tlk and Erik1223 play. TLK had close to 200K and Erik1223 was down to about 20K. I've also noticed alot of big action pots where I am completly surprised by the hands that are shown down. People going to a showdown w hands that are very obviously beat.

People always talk about how the most fish are on party but has anyone noticed the borderline retarded play on low limit (2/4 limit) on full tilt. They seem to play similar to the players on party at midnight or later when everyone is drunk. Things like call down with small pair with all overcards in on board, drawing to gutshots, and 6 people to the flop being capped with poelpe playing hands like 83. Don't know because I just switched from party to full tilt and it the only pay I have seen like this is like I said drunk party and live 2/4 in vegas.

The major purpose of most forms of insurance is for the policy holder to reduce variance. They won't take a big hit all at one time.
