  1. It's not that the pros can't beat the amateurs. There are just so many amateurs it makes it unlikely for a pro to win. If you have a tournament with 500 pros and 500 donkey amateurs who do you think is gonna be at the final table?
  2. You have to e-mail them and ask them if they can set up your account to be able to make private tournaments. If you have made a certain amount of FPP (I don't know how many) then they add the feature for you. Then when you log in you'll be able to click "Requests", "Private Tournament", "Create Tournament".
  3. Doesn't matter. You bet out of turn and you're not getting your money back.
  4. As long as the cards aren't behind any chips or anything, people will be able to see them. What difference does it make if they're next to each other or on top of each other? Also, I don't think the WPT uses the cameras you're thinking of.
  5. I agree with you except on the puking part. I'd rather not make a mess throwing up everywhere, but I don't like check-raising either.
  6. I don't know where there's Montana's in Niagara falls, but go there. It's really good.
  7. I think this has to be a call. You said she's conservative so it's pretty unlikey that she played any hand with a 3 in it. If she had AA, KK, or JJ she would probably raise you pre-flop. You're pretty much only losing to 99, but there are so many hands you can beat.
  8. I like the way you played it. I don't like the idea of min-raising the flop, but maybe that's just because I don't ever like to make a min-raise. I think the turn can go either way. Don't think it's a big deal wether you check or make a small bet.
  9. Pretty terrible, but probably not the worst ever. I read it too quickly at first and thought he was making the overcall with 22. That would be the worst for sure. LOL.
  10. They both have you covered by quite a bit. They'll probably bet enough to put you all in or close to all in anyways. Just call the flop and turn. Push the river if they don't bet enough to have you all in already.
  11. Yeah, all the cool kids are doing it...http://www.fullcontactpoker.com/poker-foru...8&hl=tattos
  12. Yeah, just fold and let him take it. You don't wanna get in trouble with A8. Just be patient and wait for something better.
  13. Nice, I like playing heads-up. I was waiting for this. Damn, why don't they make more tables for it though? They're so full.
  14. Against other players you might have to put more thought into folding, but against this guy it seems you had to call.
  15. I'd fold there too. The pot is small and he's just trying to make it look like it's a split pot and he wants all of it. He's probably got a flush.
  16. I've been playing there lately and I've been trying to decide if I should play any satellites or not. I'd be in for this if I'm there.
  17. I guess when you flop a hand like that you know you won't lose if there's a bad beat jackpot. Nice job.
  18. I wasn't really sure what to do. I felt like I could beat a lot of hands that guy in the big blind might have had. He liked to make those big re-raises like that a lot. He showed hands earlier when he'd done it with hands like AK, AQ, or just about any pair. I actually almost pushed pre-flop because of that, but I just called his $100 more and then I wasn't gonna fold when that shortstack pushed for another $70. If the flop is low then I probably still go all-in and get busted so I got really lucky there.
  19. Yeah, I know. I said I got really lucky.
  20. I got really lucky and won this crazy hand playing $5/$5 NL at Fallsview yesterday.PREFLOP: I have QsQd under the gun.- I raise to $25- Cutoff calls- Big blind re-raises to $125- I call- Cutoff re-raises all-in to $195- Big blind calls and I callFLOP: Qh 4h 5h- Big blind bets out $200- I raise all-in to $540- Big blind callsWe turn our cards up now and the guy in the cutoff who was all in preflop had AcAs and the guy in the big blind has KhKdTURN: 9hThe guy with KhKd makes a flush and jumps up out of his chair to scream "Yes!" and tell me something about justice and how I shouldn't
  21. The guy obviously wanted to call you. Don't try to get technical and use the rules to win like that. Maybe David Singer is starting a trend...
  22. If he's calling down with hands like middle pair and bottom pair I think I'd want to bet the turn for sure. Seems like he could have a smaller pair or a draw. I'd fold if he raised the turn and then probably check-call the river.
  23. All in. Sure, you might be behind, but you called pre-flop to try and flop a set and you did. I don't see how you can fold now.
