  1. I don't think this is right, unless there are multiple big stacks at the table who you have an advantage over and you all plan on playing for a long time. With a medium stack I think you should just play tighter (less implied odds) and more agressive than you would with a 100bb stack.
  2. wow you are like super lag cm, which is totally opposite of what i'd expect given your advice on hands.i mean your overall vpip is in the 40's, and your wtsd is still 38ish...it is only 10k hands, but still those are some reeeeeeeeeeeally lag numbers. i don't see how those numbers can be profitable.
  3. That really doesn't have anything to do with it, particularly the number of hands you get in. 12 tabling full ring is basically as hard as 8 tabling 6max, and you get in about the same # of hands.Basically the only advantage of 6max is that the players are atrocious. Having a wider opening range due to less players doesn't affect the profitability, though it is the main reason that horrible players are attracted to it (which does affect profitability, obviously).
  4. 75% isn't sustainableeither way cash games are more profitable...
  5. Fold the flop. Don't bet the turn, TAPs are often making a weak check planning to call down w/ QQ+.I think I would bet mroe on the river. After the turn check/call it appears that he has QQ+ looking for a showdown but not looking to get raised. If he calls 75 I think he'd call 100 or so too.
  6. + 1.1k after 1,700 hands of 1/2 6max NL (16.4 PTBB/100)+ 3k after 9k hands of 5/10 limit+ another 500 or 600 from like 10k hands of 5/10, i dunno that DB is on another comp.i heart poker
  7. If my bankroll somehow got down to 100, I would play .25/.50 L08, build that up to 200 and then play 25PLO8 and .5/1 LO8, depending on which tables are softer. I dunno if you know how to play O8 though, but it's a great bankroll builder. Low variance and high winrate.
  8. My new goal is to get really really good at 6max NL.I mean WTF these games are juicty. I've been CALLED DOWN by K high twice in my little 200 hand session. Here's a hand that just happened, not a K high call down but still RIDICULOUSPokerStars Game #5540220182: Hold'em No Limit ($1/$2) - 2006/07/12 - 21:30:30 (ET)Table 'Erinome IV' 6-max Seat #6 is the buttonSeat 1: INThor ($74.35 in chips) Seat 2: Zadan ($275.30 in chips) Seat 3: mdom ($218.25 in chips) Seat 4: MuckinQuads ($68.15 in chips) Seat 5: TXtoVA ($80 in chips) Seat 6: Mbombach ($177.65 in chips) INThor: posts small blind $1Zadan: p
  9. NL is SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO ****ING BORING THOUGH.........
  10. Actually, I've thought about that for a while and I'm gonna give it a go.I think I'm gonna start playing 1/2 6max for 10k hands or so and see how things go.
  11. related..I'm running 4ish BB/100 at 5/10 for the past 10k hands, which is an insane amount of money for me since i just graduated hs, so now I find myself not wanting to put in as many hands as i used to because i feel a big loss session is inevitable...
  12. Jay,I think the 2/4 hands there are actually 6max as well, they're just not labeled that way (I think party 6max hands do this).Anyway the stats look OK to me, but I think the VPIP, PFR, and ATSB can all go up some points. The graph actually worries me more than the stats, because a lot of the downswing doesn't spike much.... it just kinda goes down.I'm sure you're a winner though. I went through something a lot like this too(I think the highest I actually got was -425 BB though). I wish you the best.
  13. You were kind. I definitely would have included "Satan is genius" in there somewhere.

    Who Is Blind

actually, it's you who hasn't felt the love of the Flying Spaghetti Monster. I feel pretty sad for you that you confuse your emotions with divine intervention, when in fact I can tell you from personal experience that there is only one god who loves us, and his name is the Flying Spaghetti Monster.
  15. Yeah. I remember a year or so ago I had trouble playing 3 tables of LHE, but I had no problem whatsoever 8-10 tabling PLO8.
  16. You're ****ed up. I kinda get what you mean though. When I run really good I keep thinking, "will this be the session that ****s me up and I drop 100 bbs in?" So I suppose finally having a bad session relieves *some* anxiety, but not nearly enough to make me happy about it compared to having another kick *** session. If that makes sesne.
  17. I agree. I think having the lead is pretty much always an advantage postflop for us.Also, your signature. I looked all over the religion forum for the quote but can't find it. Could you give me a link please?
  18. My goal is to be playing 10/20 and getting close to 15/30 by the end of the month.BTW, already +250ish BB this month, all in 5/10. And I have you both crushed. I've already played 20k hands haha. I'll be lucky to get in 1k more by the 10th though.
  19. I think folding the flop is better. The texture and the fact you're OOP put heavy RIO on this hand. The pot is small, so I don't mind giving it up here.As played I absolutely hate the river bet/fold, especially vs a tricky player. The last thing you want to do is use a line which will sometimes end up foldinjg the best hand in this big pot.I don't see any point in leading this river at all really. Just check/call and be slightly surprised if you win.
  20. yeah i think you need to bet this river.and cap PF
  21. i think this is an easy check behindyou either have 2 outs or he is drawing dead. he may c/r with air hoping to fold your TT or w/e.there really isn't anything for villain to call with that you beat.also, betting the turn makes no sense at all unless you're betting the riv UI.
