If you have a lot of chips, call an all-in re-raise from a short stack with complete garbage. When other players are paying attention, it works, cuz they'll only reraise with premium hands. No one likes to get called moving all in without a pair or a dominant hand.Or just wait till later, when the blinds start really hurting people. Then you generally only need to raise 2x the blind to steal.

It will be cool to watch Gus hand-by-hand. I was wondering too about Pokerchamps, but Full Tilt seems to have everyone right now.

Daniel was my favorite at the beginning, probably because I'm Canadian too, and he seems like a really likable guy. He's still probably my favorite.My own style's a lot more like Howard Lederer though, so he's up there too on my list. Not really sure if I cheer for him more than Daniel or not. Probably a toss up.My sentimental favorite is TJ Cloutier.

I'm pretty sure he's well over 2 million in cash now. His two bracelets were worth over a million each, if I'm not mistaken. Madsen's playing unbelievable right now, making me wonder if the other pros think he's a flash in the pan or the real deal. If he's a flash in the pan, WOW! What a flash, huh? It's a flash that could very well set him for life, and in my mind, has to be the single best WSOP for anyone ever. 2 bracelets and 2 thirds, over 2 million in cash... I think Hellmuth, as great as he's been, is just over 1 million so far. (I wonder if the WSOP points have been updated yet..

Winning today is definitely more impressive than in the 80's. And yes, it's purely because of field size. Of course there's more dead money out there, but all the same pros are in there as well, with the same chance as anyone to take advantage of it.
