  1. Is there a list of FCP'ers participating in the main event posted anywhere here? I want to follow them and send them psychic power wishes.
  2. If I were you, I'd do the regular 10% thing, but only from money you take out of your bankroll to spend.
  3. If you have a lot of chips, call an all-in re-raise from a short stack with complete garbage. When other players are paying attention, it works, cuz they'll only reraise with premium hands. No one likes to get called moving all in without a pair or a dominant hand.Or just wait till later, when the blinds start really hurting people. Then you generally only need to raise 2x the blind to steal.
  4. It will be cool to watch Gus hand-by-hand. I was wondering too about Pokerchamps, but Full Tilt seems to have everyone right now.
  5. Me too. It's not hard to spot the e-mail as "MrLahey" though. Character from the Trailer Park Boys (Canadian show). It doesn't take long to figure out when the person doesn't talk about anything but paypal.
  6. Oh my God! It's the real Kim Jong Il! Someone kick him in the nuts!
  7. Daniel was my favorite at the beginning, probably because I'm Canadian too, and he seems like a really likable guy. He's still probably my favorite. My own style's a lot more like Howard Lederer though, so he's up there too on my list. Not really sure if I cheer for him more than Daniel or not. Probably a toss up.My sentimental favorite is TJ Cloutier.
  8. I realized that as soon as I posted, sorry. But then when I tried to correct it, the net stopped working. You get ironic bad beats all over the place, I guess. Sorry. And yeah, he's at about 1.5 million. Not sure how I got the 2 million number. I saw it somewhere and must have read it wrong.
  9. I'm pretty sure he's well over 2 million in cash now. His two bracelets were worth over a million each, if I'm not mistaken. Madsen's playing unbelievable right now, making me wonder if the other pros think he's a flash in the pan or the real deal. If he's a flash in the pan, WOW! What a flash, huh? It's a flash that could very well set him for life, and in my mind, has to be the single best WSOP for anyone ever. 2 bracelets and 2 thirds, over 2 million in cash... I think Hellmuth, as great as he's been, is just over 1 million so far. (I wonder if the WSOP points have been updated yet..
  10. Raymer and Williams, together again.
  11. This is getting historic.
  12. It's over. I was in 11th, I think, at the end. lol, I don't even really play pokerstars.
  13. I'm inside the top 50 with about 600 to go.
  14. Just had a big suck out on a guy. Not really big (A4 against A7 with a high flop, high likelihood of a split.) Up to about 4k
  15. it'd be cool if any of us ended up at the same table. I'm under this name.
  16. I'm in. I suppose I'll spend the first 20 minutes watching people move all-in preflop.
  17. Winning today is definitely more impressive than in the 80's. And yes, it's purely because of field size. Of course there's more dead money out there, but all the same pros are in there as well, with the same chance as anyone to take advantage of it. By saying Chan's were more impressive because he was only against top pros isn't a good argument, in my opinion, because I think if you dumped four or five thousand donkeys in the tourneys Chan won, the achievement would be even more impressive. As much as these guys are dead money, they're also land mines. If that wasn't the case, we'd have ni
  18. More likely than not, this is Phil's night. He's held onto the lead the whole time and he's in a zone at this WSOP.
  19. This is getting disgusting. He took over the chip lead. I know it takes a lot of luck to win these tournaments, but this is getting disgusting. I'm pulling for him.

    Monkey

The monkey doesn't need to win. He just needs to crack Phil Hellmuth's aces with QJ off, thus giving us the greatest tv poker moment in history
