i used to live in orlando and played at the hardrock a maybe 7 or 8 times...i agree winning there on a consistent level is almost impossible...its a straight 2 game , with bad players...sounds good right?? no ,its river poker, nobody, i mean nobody folds...there are no bluffs ,bottom line is have the nuts and you win..very boring in that way..if you do catch great cards you will win good cash beacuse everybody calls you down...but other than that,id much rather go on those crusie ships that you can gamble on in fl...

i lived in vegas for a little over a year and knew this guy that dealt at one of the locals casinos..he made ok money. he also didnt gamble so that was a big help to him...but im sure if you work in one of the nicer places on the strip you can make more money..i always wanted to try it, always around the action , being in a casino 40+ hrs a week sounds fun..but when you are married.......<sigh>.....you are stuck in suburban middle class hell...lol..

He was born in Toronto but his parents are both romanian. So he is romanian. That is why he is such a good poker player. you are correct, you can say whatever you want..free speech isn't it grand...but i doubt anybody here cares what school you went to, how much money you make, or what horses butt you had to whipe to make it..free speech should come with a disclaimer to not be a censored when you open your mouth...so even if you by miracle have something helpful and witty to say,its too late .. nobody will listen to you because you have proven to be a horses a s s ...pardon the..... well you get the idea.....

he is usaully on in the early afternoons..at least thats when i se him on..its true, he doesnt get much action when hes on anyway..unless a few other pros are then he plays with them..

look, i dont know smash personally, and have never even had a conversation with him..that being said, i play low limit poker and when somebody has some good advice on the topic it would be in my best intrest to listen..i have learned quite a bit from smash's posts here...the guy pulled in i believe he said like 40k from part poker last year..that may not be daniel material ,but to me when a guy can make a significant amount of money at this , i wanna hear what he has to say about it...have you been that consistent in your game?he played the .50/1.00 as an experiment as has been documented ove

first of all im not a big gus fan, but to say the guy is always lucky...come on...yes he seems to always catch alot of great cards at really good times..but for the most part gus is a really good player..his crazy stykle is why the pros come back over the top of him so much..gus knows that and thats why he makes the "loose" calls he does,...he figures with all the money in pot its worth it...he makes ppl play outside of their plan by raising and reraisng with marginal hands...so far so good for him...thats why he is not respected by other pros, because he wins races wiht marginal hands...call
