i heard about a guy that went to UW-Madison that won a wpt. the guy i heard it from is a friend of mine and was his roommate. anyways the guy is supposed to be really good, won the wpt tourney and $1.5 million, got sponsored and moved out to the west coast.it turns out that he just upped and left. he did pay for the remainder of the rent but left the rest of the guys to pay for his share of utilities. even though he wasn't going to use the utilities don't you think the guy would be nice enough to cough up a little of the dough? wouodn't you guys splurge a couple thousand out of 1.5 mil to

I was going to deposit money there for the first time and thought I might get a promo of some kind.

I wasn't trying to become predictable in my betting, just get an idea for how I should think of the game in the long run. I just wanted an idea of how you went about betting in a general sense when you play NL.

I wanted to know if there is any literature out there on how much to bet, what hands, when, that sort of thing. I'm wandering about NL. My play is good but my betting seems to have no real science behind it. Just thought you guys could tell me how you bet and/or if there is anything I can read on the subject.

22. I don't play regularly but do when I can. Too many other interests and hobbies to keep from focusing on only poker.

I was wondering why all those advetisements on NBC before the super bowl said not a gambling site. Oh well. It will still get the word out to the public eventually. They definately will have some kind of info on those sites re: their other sites.

when i see tourneys online it reads something like $5 - $.50 NL. I take this as $5 blind now limit. but what is the .50. .50 cent blinds? and then what is the max you can bet? $5? i'm a little confused. some help would be appreciated.
