  2. I don't hear about any coverage of the event, but here's who participated:The father-and-son duos competing in this event are Doyle Brunson and Todd Brunson, Barry Greenstein and Joe Sebok, Card Player Magazine publisher and media mogul Barry Shulman and Card Player chief operation officer Jeff Shulman, season 3 WPT World Poker Open champion Steve Stolzmann and John Stolzmann, and season 4 WPT World Poker Challenge champion Romeo Simon and Michael Simon.Completing the table will be WPT host Vince Van Patten as he finally steps down from the host stand to take a seat at a WPT table with famous
  3. Thats not the real David Singer. There is an interview of him on pokerwire where he says that everyone keeps asking him how he's doing, but Dave Singer is someone else.
  4. It's harder than when I started playing 2 years ago. I've been playing a lot of HORSE sit-n-gos and PL Omaha cash games recently and those are usually donkeyfull.
  5. Poker pages lets you fill in your own info. It's obvious someone filled in Jamies info for him and put female under gender. It has nothing to do with the name Jamie.Edit: Still funny as hell
  6. Which one of your roommates is The-Toilet 0?
  7. Why can't I vote? The buttons are missing.I vote for the mouth by the way.
  8. Thanks,I was definitely in desperation mode. I had survived the last few orbits by pushing in late position and that was working to keep me alive, but I needed to double up.The blinds had just gone up so that put extra pressure on me. I think the comments were right on and even though I lost I think I played it well.
  9. Thanks for the input guys. I pushed on the flop because I figured he would fold if he missed plus I still had outs if I was beat.He called with K J and the straight didn't get there for me.Where can I get more info on this M number you guys talk about. I haven't heard of it before.
  10. It's a $24+2 tourney on full tilt. We are down to 61 out of over 2k players. First pays close to 7K. 63-46th place pay out $80.I'm sitting pretty short stacked (52 out of 61) with 14K in chips, but I just posted the 2K big blind leaving me with 12K behind.A late position player with 36K limps for 2K and everyone folds to me in the big blind. I have seen this guy limp a few times with medium pp or a weak ace or king.I have 5 7 . There is 7K in the pot. I check because I don't think the guy who limped is able to fold if I push here and I would rather see a flop first. The flop comes 4 j 6 . I
  11. Help guys I need some encouragement.Full tilt final table 8234133BigHazEdit:1st place, thanks for railing!!!
  12. Thanks for the replies guys. I called and he did indeed have 22. I guess it was a hard situation to escape.I think if I had raised to $7 or $8 pre-flop the guy would have called anyway with his small pocket pair and the result would have been the same.I kind of think I should have gotten away from the hand on the flop. I just kept thinking "dont go broke in an unraised pot".
  13. Hi guys,1/2 NL table. I have $180 and I'm under the gun with A Q . I decide to just limp since I'm in early position.5 players see a flop of A Q 2 .I bet the pot of $11. Late position player raises to $22. I make it $55. He pushes All in and has me covered. Now I'm thinking the only hand that has me beat here is 22. I don't see him limping w/ AA or QQ after 4 people limped.I don't know if he is solid or not. I think he must have 22 or maybe AK. Do I lay it down now?
  14. Hey Grinder, why did you take down your blog?
  15. Steve Zolotow (see thread about David Williams following in his footsteps)
  16. RAAAAAACISSSSSST!!! I wasn't offended, but didn't think it was very funny either.
  17. If he checks behind you, then you acted first and he acted second. This can potentially hurt you if he catches up on the free card.
  18. I heard they based the Entourage character Ari Gold on that guy.....
  19. Since Royal Tour is not around I'm putting in the request. I'm a pretty big deal too (sw).
  20. It doesn't sound like a sit-n-go:"The final table is set for tomorrow, Friday, September 15th, 2006. Other world-renowned players participating in the 8-day tournament include David Williams, Jeff Madsen, Sam Simon, Amir Vahedi, Ian Frazer, Carlos Mortenson, Jac Arama, David "Devil Fish" Ulliot, and Gold's mentor, Johnny Chan."http://biz.yahoo.com/prnews/060914/nyth075.html?.v=61
