  1. it is one of the sticky's at the top of the strategy section the first or second post says bison hand converter, go in there and check the "bet the pot" format
  2. it is likely that someone could have hit trips, had a smaller boat, and flushes, i think he should be 3 betting in this situation
  3. it was most certaintly chip dumping! you thought you were beat and reasoned well if i lose this huge pot he will be in a great spot to win the tourney anyways, if this isnt chip dumping i dont know what is.
  4. Let me first reiterate here that I'm not accusing anyone of anything. That said, this argument is not convincing to me. The EV loss to Maxfield due to Hasan playing non-optimally on the KJs hand is real and measurable. It doesn't matter what they did on other hands. And if I were going to play differently against someone because I owned part of them, I'd be very selective about when I did it. Don't want to be obvious about this. And if I was going to pick one critical moment to do it, it'd probably look a lot like the moment Hasan folded KJs.If I said I saw someone run a red light you co
  5. you dont think he should 3 bet that river? calls 2 cold, calls 2 more cold, not that it would have changed results but i think you have to 3 bet the rivernevermind.
  6. all i can say is, worst sit n go structure ever.
  7. i dont like this raise preflop, maybe im wrong
  8. reraise preflop to try and isolate, its kind of hard to read did it get capped on flop and turn?
  9. Basically the only time i like to weak lead is when i have called a preflop raise from a tight player with a small pp, if i hit the set i weak lead into them hoping they come over the top huge to protect their big hand. Other than that I usually keep the weak lead play out of my game
  10. Limp hit a set win all the money, or lose all your money when you are in a set over set situation. I will call up to about 10% of my stack preflop and hope to set up and win a huge one, if i miss i fold. Don't get cute with small pp, they are usually trash unless you hit a set.
  11. don't worry about the results. you are dominated by 3 hands in that situation, AA, KK, and AK. When you're shortstacked in a tournament(especially early) you can't sit around and nut peddle you have to pick a hand and go with it.and dominated by qq, but anyways you have got to push oin that situation, you've gotta push especially under the gun, the blinds are coming!
  12. Please enlighten me on how we are all dumb because we think that everyone at the table having only 10bb each is not ridiculous? I'm aware the blinds probably escalated from something to 50-100, but in his post he said that they were all at about 1000 total chips, what do they start at 500? or was no one busted in the first 6 levels and then everyone is shortstacked? Either way, please make sure you are making a valid point before calling several people dumb
  13. Okay risingshark a few comments i'd like to make on this situation. What the freak kind of sit n go are you playing where the blinds are at 50-100 and everyone is around 1,000 in chips that sounds like just about the worst structure everrrrr and you should play elsewhere. Other comments on the way it was played, why min raise with ak, then call someone coming all in over the top, then complain if you lose? You set it up to have someone come over the top of you which is questionable, but if you are going to take this route you must be prepared to lose, its not like you min raised a monster i
  14. blinds were 15/30 that's not a small potI know the pot wasn't small after getting callers, im talking about on the flop be happy to win just the blinds and end the hand right there, the hand is far too vulnerable to try and slow play it, so when flopping sets to a coordinated board [/b]be happy winning a small pot
  15. be happy winning that small pot! why slowplay and let yourself lose a big pot when someone hits one of the billion draws and you cant let go of your set? dont even contempate playing this slow
  16. Call, you have him covered you have top pair, you get information on how he plays if he's beat. He is all shortstacked and just limps, he either has a monster or he has big cards and he missed and wants to try and take the pot. Call you are ahead most of the time, you either move up to 14k or down to 7k, you can come back from 7k and 14k is a good spot to be in
  17. im check calling that river, i dont know if im losing value but i cant believe when its 3 handed like that and the one guy has just called the whole way that hes not on a flush draw.
  18. well we made the money... time for hopefully a long haul into the big money
  19. good job stay strong, lets both get into the real money
