  1. Yeah I never really thought about buy ins this way. Of course if I ever am able to buy in comfortably for 500k life is pretty damn good if I win or lose.
  2. This is what I was thinking. I tend to b/f in this situation without some sort of sick read.
  3. Something I've been working on is trying not to adjust my bet sizing on monster hands pf because of the table dynamic (nitty or whatever). I've been finding that when I do that I'm just asking to be sucked out on. As played, I'm never folding in that situation. If one of them flopped a set then they deserve my chips.
  4. No royal flush draw as he as AsKc. :)I hate the check on the flop. If he's on a draw I'm making him pay for it. I feel with a board like this you still have the best hand "most" of the time IMO. Sorry - I'm not a math guy (something I'm working on) so I don't want to take a stab at the pot odds.
  5. I'm usually like to raise with AA from any position at least 4x. As played, I agree with the shove.
  6. Great last post, trystero. You have to raise it here and I agree that just calling pf and then here reads as suspicious. I'd min raise and if he has anything, he's calling. If an overcard comes out on the turn I'm c/c to set him up for a shove on the river.
  7. With that many clubs out there, I'm checking the turn for sure - but what I don't understand is why you call his min raise on the flop just to get scared out on the turn. Agree with LBK723 too that this guy is gonna trip himself up if you give him the chance.
  8. DEfinitely should have raised pf and shoved on the flop facing the raise. As played, I think you have to fold imo.
  9. I have a hard time laying this down. I doubt that he has a higher flush but that bet reads like a full house to me. I think I have to fold and hate myself for doing it.
  10. I think I'm betting for value on the river. I'm thinking anywhere from 4.50 - 7. I doubt he's going to call that bet even with a weak queen.
  11. It gives them more time to think...which for fish thats not always a good thing.
  12. Correct me if I'm wrong, but I believe its 11% to hit your flush draw with AXs and less than 1% to hit your flush on the flop. I really don't see a point in limping with AXs. Either get in the hand and raise it, or get out imo.
  13. No point in calling here. You're not really drawing to anything, and if an overcard comes? Shove. I like your spot here. If you can stomach a shove, then fold.
  14. I agree. Not sure what he was trying to represent here. We all knew he had an A and the 3 couldn't have helped him. Nice play, def. got lucky on the river though.
  15. I pretty much agree with all the above that shoving is the right option here. I'm thinking you're facing 88+ if its the first hand. Maybe even a bluff.
  16. Spew - to give away your chips unnecessarily into a losing hand, stupidly, etc. Think of the term literally too...
  17. I like the check. Our bet is only getting called if we're beat.
  18. Yeah, this wasn't the best played hand I've ever seen, but I've destroyed myself with AA. We all have. I think all you can do is call here and move forward to the next hand.
  19. Yeah, he played this pretty badly. And your call wasn't all that bad considering you were the best going into the river.
  20. Definitely against the rules and kinda bugs me. I don't know if I would call it cheating though.
  21. I agree. I'm not protecting my SB to a 4BB raise with A2. Suited or no.
  22. I don't mind the raise preflop. IPITS. Seems pretty standard to me.
