it sounds like he refused to change gears at all, you can't just keep playing every hand it's too risky because you will be wrong eventually risking large portions of your stack against opponents who would really like to bust you. You think playing every hand is why ESPN wanted to keep him at the feature table? My guess would be YES.

I'm sure he had AA every other hand dingbat.You can't play that many hands(well over 50%) against opponents that really are gunning for you because they want to take out a name pro. You'll have to risk too many chips too often & you're bound to be wrong once in a while.

I think the complaint is the blinds start out slow then as they near the FT the blinds get so high that it's a Turbo with no room to do anything without committing your stack making it a crap shoot(just like the WPT FT's)

they both deserve to be in the HOF. There were no rules against steroids when they played so that is mute. Does everyone think they should keep out every player that used illegal drugs (cocaine) too. the players elligible every year would be basically non-exixtent.

i heard they were having trouble getting the truely big names to commit to playing. This in turn made getting the sponsorship tougher because we were left with lots of players most casual observers have never heard of (can anyone really say they are a big fan of Chris Biggler, Marsha Waggoner et al). If they could have gotten the top 150 players every event this would have flown easily, but like someone said Ivey and others can potentially make way more cash in a side game than the top prize or play for days and finish 7th probably doesn't appeal to them either.

at least they didn't have them up for the original airing. I'm sure they'll be there on the next season though.

TSN's Sportcenter in Canada & basically all sports channel highlight shows have gone for a shyt. Every anchor thinks they are stand-up comics and they try way too hard to be funny. There must be a competition to see who can be the lamest and most embarrasingly unfunny. I watch these shows for the highlights not for comic relief. It's gotten to the point i get all my news & scores from the ticker then move on.

Mondays or Thursdays 1 of them are mormally an off day for travel so you play less games on these days during the season then say a weekend where they play every day barring rainouts. 1994 the Expos had the best record in baseball and were 8-0 on Thursday. I thought this was a fairly tuff question so Snamuh would have to tell you how he got it so easily.I've won many bar bets with this little nugget.
