  1. I mean this comment as no offense to anyone who plays micro stakes. But they must ALWAYS remember that they are playing against other people who are only playing 5nl. Meaning, most likely, he is bad. Him shoving by no means constitutes him having AA or a set. He could have a TON of hands you are beating. Call. But also as everyone else has already said. RERAISE PREFLOP.
  2. AP has 7-2 tables where they give you 10bb if you win a hand with 72? Ha, thats pretty cool.
  3. Solid strategy man. Find the only guy who has you covered, then one out him for a straight flush in a hand, where he is mostly freerolling, to get him to double you up. You still taking on students? I could use some sage advice like this. And I beat that guy, jerk.
  4. So I was using TableRatings to check out the hands of a guy I was playing HU, and under his biggest loss ever, I found this gem. I believe you will recognize the villian in this hand, (i am just assuming its the same one)https://www.pokertableratings.com/replayer/...hash=2067715110
  5. Yes, I did not see that before, just don't minraise preflop. Don't do it, don't do it.
  6. If you even considered folding this for a second, stop playing poker forever.
  7. Wow, you average over 4 posts a day for the past 4 years.......think thats all I have to say really.
  8. Hmmm, well i am like 13.23 over 30k hands right now, but i've been running pretty terrible lately as expected in swingy HU (like 9 buyins under in last 5k hands), so i'll stick with it for a while. I cant handle 10-15 tabling like you do, I'm a live guy remember. 2 tabling HU is about my limit, so when are you going to be ready to go to AC again, we might go very very soon.
  9. Ha, im actually pretty suprised its that high as well. Since i've been forced into the awful world of online play, where the guys playing .10/.25 would normally be playing 1/2 live, maybe you will see a massive ressurgence of me on this forum. Someone needs to counter your advice, which is usually "shove." Btw what would a good HU bb/100 be. I know nothing of these stats this program keeps firing out at me.
  10. His line seems standard to me. You just weren't good enough to fold. Otherwise his line was great....too bad he was playing against a call monkey.
  11. just went down for me like 2 minutes ago, argh, midnight madness fail
  12. Well I posted this hand for a less than obvious reason. Now, clearly this is an easy fold. BUT.......the way this game was being played, very fast, i mean physically fast, and the way the villian had been betting, the EXACT same amount on every street, I saw that he bet, and i instaclicked call, as I had been all session. I then saw the amount he bet and looked and my screen in complete horror. I literally let out a small shriek, while alone in my room. BUT, he then procceeded to check the brick river, and with 20$ behind, i said **** it, and put him all in, he called and showed Q 10 off. Now
  13. Ok, well bottom line here, I folded, cause i weighed all the options and figured I was only crushing a overpair, and this could easily be a boat or OESFD, but I only had 9 dollars invested, so I folded and moved on.
  14. Ok, I don't have a ton of HU expierence, and I know some guys on here do, so maybe you I could get some insight. This guy was a super aggro, raised EVERY hand to $3 preflop and then 5 on the flop, and 12 or 15 on the turn, like clockwork. Up to this point I'd been working him over pretty good, folding alot and raising the rest. Then this hand came up.Full Tilt No-Limit Hold'em, $1 BB (2 handed) Full Tilt Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com (Format: FlopTurnRiver Cards)Hero ($161.50)BB ($138.70)Preflop: Hero is Button with , . Hero calls $0.50, BB raises to $3, Hero calls $2.Flop: ($7) , ,
  15. I've been at the table for a while and so has this fellow, and I have seen him do nothing out of line, in fact, I've seen him do nothing at all really, he sat with like 160 and hasn't been very active at all.Full Tilt No-Limit Hold'em, $2 BB (9 handed) Full Tilt Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com (Format: FlopTurnRiver)UTG+1 ($218.15)MP1 ($229.95)MP2 ($235)MP3 ($200)CO ($206.20)Hero ($320.95)SB ($151.70)BB ($137.55)UTG ($209.65)Preflop: Hero is Button with 4, 5. 1 fold, UTG+1 calls $2, 3 folds, Hero calls $2, 1 fold, BB checks.Flop: ($7) 5, 5, 7(4 players)BB checks, UTG+1 checks, Hero be
  16. It was on FTP, i think when ppl sit out there, they will blind them out but then run out the hands when they are all in, I must of ran good, haha.
  17. I just got back on, and.......my aaccount has more money it then i left it with, i was second in chips with 8 left in a sit and go, somehow i ended up with second place money
  18. Interesting sidenote : My internet and web browser are woking fine, but i can get on niether stars nor fulltilts homepages.
  19. Tilt is down for me. With 4 sng's being played, i run so bad.
  20. I am well aware they play different online than live, but the stakes, IE money played with is the same, which is was i meant, and jesus, the 2/4 9 handed was the nittiest game ive ever played in.
  21. The evolution of tilt: Start the day normally:WoeUntoMe posts the big blind of $1Stack off 100 real fast with set over set:WoeUntoMe posts the big blind of $2Up 300 real fast, then somehow down 300WoeUntoMe posts the big blind of $4KK loses to KK AIPF for a buyin:WoeUntoMe posts the big blind of $20Any of you guys do this as well, or am I one of the few who play 50/1 and 10/20 within the span of hours. Tskillz seems to thinks its not a winning strategy.(Some background, I have played a bunch of 5/10 live, and some 10/20, so I am fairly comfortable with the stakes, just saying I'm not a small s
  22. I've been told, everytime a poker player gives a footspa, an angel gets rivered
  23. wow, betting 25 on the turn was just awful, gotta check behind or make a real bet, not whatever that little 25 im scared please check raise me and put me in a horrible spot where i think i have to call even tohugh i could be drawing dead. Hope he just has a seven and call.
  24. From how you described the player, I'd say you have to shove here, hoping he has AQ or worse. In a situation like this, if he hit two pair or a set, you are going to stack off to him and thats a situational cooler.
