Agreed. I would say taking this line will result in losing this situation 9 out of 10 times, and he happened upon the one time the guy had air. If you have no reads on a villian at all, assuming he squeezes pf and bluffs every street 200bb deep (and yes, you can only beat a bluff here), is very very bad.

Ha. Oh i have had those days. My girlfriend nearly killed me when i threw my laptop across the room over the weekend. Three players 3 outed me, and then hit and ran, all in about 20 minutes.But I play a pretty low variance style. Don't 3 bet a ton, keep pots small until I want them big. I find I have a hard time playing guys who three bet a ton and pot bet a ton, cause I'm trying to play small pots and they are making every hand HUGE. Most of those players are just reckless and by no means winning players, but annoy my low variance style.So far up to 15.81 bb/100 for 50nl over 37K hands.And re

Well I am equally distraught. If I had known HU online was so easy to beat, I could of been doing this for years. So much missed revenue, I have literally been grieving over it. All that time and effort wasted playing SNG's.

I'm going to go ahead and say callling a preflop min raise with KQ and pos on the raiser is quite quite alright. We are playing .05/.10 here, so we can in no way assume he has proper raising values.But yes, river bet makes no sense. He is prob no longer calling with pocket pairs, and may even fold KJ now due to the ace. Basically this is a "only hand that calls you has you beat" scenario.

I was going to say 7bb also. Yeah, i was really hoping you would go deep in HU so i could rail that, but i had to get in some good pool time in the 95 degree afternoon. Just from the AA hand, you know he is awful cause he min raised preflop with AA. I yearn to play players who do that.

That BB's play with 44 in the 6 handed was just awful.I was railing in the beginning for a bit when i saw two guys get 5k in each with blinds at like 20/40, on a flop of AKJhh, and showed Q7hh and A5o. I was thinking, wow, you can really pick up some chips at this table.

That is a situation that opponent dependent I think. If he has shown he will just min bet all three streets (which many do), I don't hate just calling down all 3.If he is a min min pot guy. I play mostly HU, and often I will do something like make a small raise, party for value, but i've seen players min bet with tp or middle pair quite often, however, the small raise will take away his action, and he will usually no longer min bet the turn, or pot the river. so you avoid facing any other calling decisions throughout the hand. In HU 50 nl, ive seen the min bet min bet pot quite a bit. Usually it means a moderate hand. I rarely find myself calling it though, because if i had hand a hand I oculd of called a min bet with, I have most likely raised them on flop or turn. I usually end up calling 2 min bets with a gutshot or something of that sort and then folding to pot bet.

GL today.... The HU 535 seems as if it will be a pretty tough field, but you usually only have to win 3 matches, 4 depending on byes, to cash. So thats not too bad. 3 HU matches is more than doable. When I was boning my HU chops, i played in the 2.00$ HU shootout a few times. Won it twice out of like 10 times, with fields of 200+ both times. So I can't imagine this field will be much worse than that one. So if even I can win those, you should be able to whip through this one. small check flop check raise and then check on the turn is a bluff very often. as played call on the river is fine i'd say.I might even bet the turn though, retake control of the hand. However not betting keeps the pot small and wont force you to call another check raise or crazy river bluff. You could also fold the flop, however I like taking a card here more often than not, small bet and you can peel one to bust him if you hit a nice card, as well as having the best hand. I called mostly just to see what he had. The flop check min raise is a bluff about 90% of the time, just wanted to be sure.
