Smash said what I meant, only more succinctly. In his words... "Man! I'm the greatest!"

I honestly think at this point a pro needs to win -- a young pro (an Ivey). I don't know that I can properly articulate myself as to why I believe that, however.I think that no-names winning it frequently will eventually make it seem lottery-esque. A pro winning it will show that skill is still necessary, hopefully. I don't think a pro winning this year will hurt the retention of horrible players. Also, if no-names continue to win, that fuels the "Poker is a game of chance", anti-poker bs artists in this country who are bound and determined to structure my life into one of their contrived

It's hard to get a lot of responses to a thread with a subject to which many of us have responded several times in the past. In other words, "been there, done that." By the way, I'm sure the majority of you are grossly exaggerating the edge that any one pro player has over anyone in any game heads-up. It's ok, accuracy of mathematics is irrelevant in poker. -
It'd probably be smart for Mike not to get Greg riled up this time. That seemed to do nothing but help last time.

Yet if I made that comment about Ron White everyone would go "Yeah, haha."You just assume the wrong tone. Don't read a tone into text. It's really quite silly.

Can't you enter a homepage in your profile? Also... couldn't you just use your sig area?Also... what exactly does a poker ninja do? If you start winging cards at me like damn throwing stars I swear to god I'm going to tackle your ass and beat you colonial style. Yeah... I'm bored.

I hope no one ever realizes poker is not for them.and I hope this topic never gets posted again.and I hope I don't ever run out of Kool-Aid (while I'm hoping for things).

why werent u a dick to this guy???....clearly way off topic and should be somewhere elseYeah, either that or a direct response to the post directly above his. You make the call, if you can. -
They have an excellently run site, and evidently have an excellent management team with an excellent advertising department. It's just smart business sense. I've said before and I'll say it again: Once this WSOP airs (as will poker commercials), FullTilt will see a huge rise in traffic, unless they somehow really screw up and make inredibly worthless commercials that don't mention a single pros name.

complete chip count from wsop (& look who's in #9)

I don't know, but I was in a thread once where someone linked to a list of all the players still alive. It was cool, you could go to it and browse for yourself to see if your random favorite player was still alive. O wait... Ah hell, it's THIS thread! Well, there ya go! Now ya know what to do! -

Thank god you said something, I was pissing myself here. This is heads-up guys -- many times, the cards rule. 60/40 would be an incredible edge, and I don't believe Forrest has anywhere close to that. I withhold my personal opinion on the random arbitrary number guessing game here, because it's ... it's just that. It's stupid, actually. It is an invitation for the flamers (in either sense of the word). If you don't know, heads-up poker between two top players will usually rely on cards more than one might assume beforehand. It's important to realize that all the top players are skilled in

new poker website in development needs input

Hmmm... I am really trying to figure out something unique to help you guys out, but I'm damn tired. I got nothing. So, some things I don't want, I guess:Please don't make the links section a focal point in any way. It usually comes off very cheesy. Also, you don't want to focus in any way on a page that takes visitors AWAY from your site. Bad. Very bad. Most of all, make sure it is extremely clean. Don't get too fancy. Just clean. Please god don't add to the bottom of an article: (Ed. note: visit PartyPoker.com to get in on the action right now!). I hate that. Hate it Hate it Hate it. -
I cant see why he would not want to do something like that ~ from a business stand point it would be prefect ~ and remove a lot of the risk of a start up on his own !i would almost take odd's on something like this happening in one form or another.I would certainly put a bet on this. I am certain Daniel feels that banking on a startup is not going to work at this point in the evolution of online poker. It seems to me to be the only logical choice. However, Daniel knows much more about the business than do I. Maybe I can talk him into giving me a job with the new site. hahaDoylesRoom would b

It would make sense for him to get his own poker room under the umbrella of an established network. That would probably be the easiest route, instead of creating a whole new network. Speculation is a pretty futile and frustrating exercise at this point. ... umm... I'm going to head over to off-topic and post... anything... several times.

Or maybe this was it, and he was given a gift by getting forced to sit out for 40 minutes instead of losing all his chips during that time period.

Stop feeding the animals or you will be asked to leave the premises.

hes a retard that tries too hard to be funnyActually, he's pretty damn funny, in my opinion, since the first day he was on here. I'd rather read his posts than a good 75% of the posts on here. -

But she's got a nice chip stack in main event at time of writing this. If she goes on to win the main event, and paid you say half, would you then??Wouldn't you??????I'd fuck anything for $5 million. Seriously. Assuming of course that there were no risk to my life in anyway -- anything. Like I told my boss, "Yes I would do that incredibly obese woman for $1 million. Yes I would orally please her as well. I'd go all night if it meant $1 million." -
O dear god, you really don't know?Chip Reese == Living LegendOn the real, son.(just to be confusing.)
