If play 2 is 1.5 on the 1-10 scale, then play 1 is .025. At least in play 2 we could give the guy a miniscule amount of credit for trying to make a play at the pot, and betting small to appear like a value bet....maybe???But play one does not make sense ever, even though he won. Even if the guy is on a complete bluff he can beat 5 hands, thats it.

I remeber somewhere in one of DN's old blogs that he has not figured out what he wants for a dream house, he said it would probably be in the 4-5 million range and was not sure if he would build or buy. So if he is renting this could be the reason. About the comment about the condo, he said it was for an investement. If you look at his video blogs, his home is white everywhere with hardly any decorations, so that looks like a rental to me, but I highly doubt its because he cannot afford one. And honestly I do not know why anyone cares whether he owns his home or not.

If its a freeroll it is not gambling. It is a prize offered for no cost, just like a sweepstakes for a cruise or a car. They may set some parameters like you have 2 be 18, etc.

If I were in his shoes I would play. He is obviously a person that is trying to be a celeb or in the celeb world. Even if he gets crushed he can afford it and has stories plus the Camera time. Look at Jerry Buss, he looked at as entertainment value, he knew he could not win in the long run.

10 years ago you could not find hold em in a card room it was Omaha, Omaha8/b(most often) and stud. Holdem was a very select game and was almost dead in card rooms.

I completely agree, the written ones are much easier to check out when you want; in between hands or work. I also agree that the detail of the hands played were what I looker forward to, not so much his golf game.
