I agree I think I should of folded the flop. However, I ended up pushing on the turn because I didn't read him for superstrength, and sure enough he folded bottom set.

Sounds alright. Problem is Villian is very tricky, and often will check extremely strong hands. I couldn't decide whether or not to push or just muck it and move on.

Recently I have really loosened up my play (which has defintely helped my bottom line), but sometimes I get put in tough spot. Well that was what I ended up thinking when i did my post-mortem. After the hand he flipped up AK of diamonds. Should have called, but there is always tomorrow.

Well that was what made it tough. My read was that he didn't have a monster, and that he was just pushing so he didn't get drawn out on. He even whispered to a friend "I don't want to get sucked out on". It defintely wasn't aces. I didn't think he would do it w/ 10's, the question was was he protecting a big pair of AK. Couple of people say I should call there because I'm getting almost 2-1, but I'm not sure that is correct.

I really do not know a lot about hero's game.However, I think the turn is a great place to gain information about a hand, and if his bet isn't respected on the turn, then he loses that ability.I use the turn a lot to pick up pots against weaker players, so I like having my bet respected. But to each their own.

One thing that isn't considered is that altough it may be slightly more correct to fold here, he will lose a ton of respect on his turn bets in the future. Also, it's more than possible that the villian figures that hero doesn't have a great hand, and therefore can bet that scary board as a bluff. Depending on read, w/ pot odds, I think call
