  1. The difference is that one is stupid and the other one isn't - and with that question I was mainly trying to determine if Magnus is one of the idiots who says that. And if Magnus said "I'm putting you all in", he might have meant it that way (even though there is no difference) and thus be more upset about not having seen the chips in George's hand than he should have been objectively. Maybe I'm exagerrating there, but that is pet peeve of mine - I can't stand someone doing that in a live game.
  2. It isn't clear whether George was actually cheating from Young Turk's story - he may have been only playing around with the chips without Magnus noticing that. It wasn't necessarily George's fault that Magnus didn't see the additional chips.
  3. whatever, nice cash and grats to the finish.
  4. I think you'll have to call one of the pushes at some point, houseparty is probably bullshitting most of the time anyway...
  5. Did Magnus say "I'm putting you all-in", or "I'm all-in"? If the former then he's an idiot and should pay the full amount in any case.Otherwise I'd say it is only questionable if George hid the chips intentionally - table stakes say, that all the chips play and it is Magnus' responsibility to know how much his opponent has in front of him. He could have asked for a count before making the move.I don't know what the ruling would be in a Casino, but in my opinion, Magnus has to pay the full amount.
  6. Believing in mindless conspiracy theories makes baby Jesus cry.
  7. Relax. If that's the worst beat you've ever taken you are a lucky man.
  8. Nonsense, that is the most obvious all-in push I have ever seen (slight exaggeration, but really only slight). Anyone who tells you differently has no clue of the game. And yeah, all the sites are rigged.ETA: btw. K3o is the nuts!, most people on FCP agree on that, search for "krablar".
  9. Yeah, that was most effective for me too. What I know though is, that tourneys and s&gs are very ineffective in clearing bonuses - also the difficulty of doing that varies greatly from site to site.Obviously, if you are a NLHE player, don't play LHE...
  10. That's not a router, that's just the way your internet service provider installed the connection in your home.
  11. ^^^I absolutely hate Norton Antivirus (don't know about Internet Security) - most annoying piece of crap software I had ever voluntarily installed on my computer.
  12. lol, the squirrel isn't only drunk, it is fairly fat too.
  13. Yes, the rail is pretty awful sometime. But I am sure that DN knows, who to take seriously and treat appropriately and who not. The way he handles the idiot rail is impressive and very classy.
  14. OP obviously implied that what makes him feel better is knowing that DN is as much a donk as he is for playing the hand that way...
  15. I'm feeling exactly the same way... Well not exactly, I'm not cashing out, I'm trying to hang in there stupidly believing that the luck has to change at some point... - see my bad beat thread (and I'm running the same way in the $10 STTs which is even worse). Being on the bad side of the doomswitch is tough. (no, of course I'm not serious, but I'm beginning to see why some people might think pokerstars is rigged...)It is so demoralizing, not because I think I'm god's gift to poker or anything, but I do know that I'm so much better than these lucky ****s beating me all the time with the stupide
  16. Yeah, shove it. An open-raise from SB almost always is a steal - looks like a perfect spot for a re-steal:- villain is very likely stealing- you have lots of fold equity- your hand even has some value in itself- bubble is no concern- the pot is meaningful for your stackWhen I'm feeling like playing a little trickier and taking a bigger risk, I'll sometimes call here and push over the top of villain's inevitable c-bet, but I think a preflop shove is almost always the better play (and your stack is smallish for that).
  17. Congratulations. :)Special birthday pottery is shipped already, I hope you get it in time.

  19. I don't get why he shows every bluff he makes.
  20. ^^^strong laydown! btw, I believe him when he says he had a set QQ a couple hands earlier, he definately had a hand there.
  21. A made straight is unlikely but DN could easily have something that beats 89 here.
  22. Discuss your hands in the Tournament Strategy forum, not in General Poker, you noob.
