  1. I just spit coffee all over my monitor.
  2. I had a paper route in jr. high and one a guy on my route had the name of Richard Trainor, but he went by the short version of Richard. I forgot to deliver his paper one day and he called me up. When he said who he was I thought I was getting prank called by one of my friends until I realized who it was..no tip that month. prick
  3. I really cannot stand people that berate people for questionable plays, even if the play stacks you those are the kinds of players you want in your game. It happens all the time in the PLO game at Full Titl. People need to grow up or start playing croquet. Poker might not be for them.
  4. I used to go there all the time, but they took their no limit game away about 6 months ago and now it is a spread limit with no cap on the betting for each street. kind of a weird set up. They used to charge 12 bucks an hour for NL and take a drop as well, but I haven't played the spread limit game so I don't know if they still have a hourly charge. The traditional limit games are pretty typical of a California casino, lots of action and folding is nothing but an afterthought.I really liked to play 7 stud there, but the ante in for the lower limit game (2-4) is a dollar and it is usually a

  7. If this is true, then that my friend is freaking hilarious.
  8. I had a pretty crazy hand similiar to that at Binions a few weeks ago. I was playing in their 2am tournament, well my person was there but the rest of me was trying to swim out of an alcohol induced haze....anyway. I get 55 on the button and this herb who just rebought after he called off his whole stack w/2 pair on a four to a straight board came over the top of me right after so I figured he was steaming and reraised him enough to put him all in. He insta-calls and I know I am screwed. He throws his QQ on the felt and I start laughing and show him my fives. Flop comes Q, 9, X...so I rea
  9. yeah the clientele there is a little less than desirable. who's *** is that in your avatar? man, I would go DW all over that thing.War John Stockton
  10. San Pablo Casino in San Pablo (imagine that) still has 1/2 NL w/a 100 max and min. buy in. The game plays like 1/2 Limit so you can either make a killing punishing people or get murdered by runner runner 9 high flushes even if you raise 20 preflop. The game in Hayward is pretty good from what I hear, though I have never played in it.War John Stockton
  11. I was in Vegas a few weeks ago and played in the Binions tourney twice. It was 70 to buy in and there were normally around 40-50 players and this was the 2am tourney. I am not sure about the ones earlier in the day, but the players in the ones I played in were not that impressive. The cash games in Old Vegas were amazingly soft, which kind of suprised me. Play in the 1/2 at the Plaza and pay for the rest of your trip with your winnings.War John Stockton
  12. I would give him a quick corn-holing...I wonder if he needs a fluffer
  13. Calm down America Junior. I realize that I am not on the Jim Rome show, but I really do like the "war" cry, so I transferred it over. I guess I should have just said "tp/mm."WAR JOHN FREAKING STOCKTON!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  14. Best Post I have seen in my short time here at FCP. I do watch porn while I play, but have never attempted the Full Monty. Nice work.War John Stockton
  15. You might be right in the hinterlands of Russia as far as the availability of quality jeans. I haven't ventured out to those areas and my experience has mainly been in the larger, more industrialized cities.
  16. In a way, but more often than not it is just a guy on his way home from work or going out to eat. There are people that just drive around looking for said fares. But I think the city of St Petersburg just passed a law making this illegal in an attempt to reglulate and collect taxes from cab drivers but I could be wrong. Even if the law was passed, in all likelihood the practice still continues.
  17. I know, I told you it sounds pretty weird. I was getting fleeced by all the cabbies in the city until I figured this one out. It is pretty wild but what would cost you around 20 bucks in a real cab costs about 100 rubles (roughly 3 or four dollars) in these cabs (there is a name for them, but I forget). It is pretty cool, most of the time they will offer you a beer or a shot of vodkar to make the ride a little more enjoyable...lol
  18. I lived and studied in Russia, mainly in Moscow but have been to St. Pete many times. I was studying for an advanced degree in Russian History, but I am not so sure about the poker scene over there. I know there are quite a few clubs in Moscow, but I can't say w/any certainty the same is true for Petersburg. If you are going there in the summer time, bring your mosquito repellent and some sort of mask that you can wear while sleeping. It gets dark around 3 am and the sun comes back up around 6 am, so sleeping can be kind of difficult. If you like women, then my friend you are going to the
  19. Speaking of Stu Freaking Unger, did anyone catch his '97 WSOP ME vic last night on ESPN Classic? (jesus that is a lot of acronyms) It was epic. He was and always will be the man. Also, has anyone seen his daughter lately? She is smoking hot.War John Stockton

  21. that is pretty cool. do you know where one can find any footage from the '97 series? Now THAT, would be pretty cool to see.War John Stockton
