Anyone, mods, etc, have any insight as to when DN will come out from underground to give us an update on the shenanigans at the WSOP - nb: i am expecting the usual - bus, gus, responses ..However, i am curious as to Harrah's responses to his gripes and he usually shoots straight with the forum.

the problem with this being POTD -- is that the reply was utterly sarcastic coming from one that is meant to be a bastion of the community -- in fact, was beginning his own site to compile and share higher level poker thinking -- in fact he has become just one of the masses -- where has all the value gone?

not at all the point i was making -- but if sarcasm makes you feel better -- go for it.

This is in no way meant to slam Mr Negreanu (i enjoy this site, his blogs, his poker theories, etc), but it seems like the final 2 tables are made up of a lot of guys that are hardcore poker guys -- as opposed to guys that mix in a healthy dose of business interests that may distract them a bit.in the end, daniel may very well have more money than all of them, by capitalizing on the business of the boom -- but perhaps in an event like this, the "distractions", if u will, do not serve him as well.

In truth, I was being serious (but perhaps from lack of education and only playing backgammon as a kid), but it always seemed to me, the guy that got more doubles was going to win, regardless of relative skill level.I am happy to be educated otherwise.

Shadow Creek - obviously - one of the best anywhere $500 a round, but well worth it.TPC at summerlin - good course (they play a tour event there, reasonably priced)Stallion Mountain - nice course well maintained, about $125 a round)I have heard the new course at the Wynn is nice (the old dessert inn space) haven't played it yet, though.
