CBass1724 1
I made up a blog to help me out with my poker. The link to it is in my signature. I donk off too much money and figured if I posted results, I would play smarter since some of you might read how badly I play. I don't want to embarrass myself. Feel free to comment or flame away.Love and hugs.Your CBass

No_Neck 0
Give it time, you can think of something good.I think you might need a lesson in bankroll management. Do you plan on sitting with your whole roll on the table often?
SBriand 4
I think you might need a lesson in bankroll management. Do you plan on sitting with your whole roll on the table often?I agree. I would take that $722 and now start playing within your roll and hopefully see it blossom into a larger BR. I can see the next blog update now, "I played 10/20 NL and lost it all in one hand." CBass1724 1
NoNeck-No, just for that first session. I think I will go to the $10 sng's. I'm not really sure what I am going to do honestly. Maybe go to the $.25-.50 $50 buy in nl tables. I'm used to playing the $30 and $50 sng's and 2-4, 3-6 nl, but I know I don't have enough cash to play in those games regularly yet. I think it's the thrill of the money involved because I have won pots worth $1500-2000 and lost the same ones. I have even jumped in with JDags last year at 100-200 limit and did alright. I need/want to get better at poker and needed a fresh start. So that is why I did this.I know my bankroll management sucks and I don't plan on sitting with my whole bank roll at one time, but you never know. Hopefully I can stay away from that by posting my results consistently. I don't want to lose then have to tell you guys. I agree. I would take that $722 and now start playing within your roll and hopefully see it blossom into a larger BR. I can see the next blog update now, "I played 10/20 NL and lost it all in one hand."Been there done that. Trust me on that one. It has worked out before. You always think "it only takes one hand to double it" but it also takes one hand to lose it. High risk high reward I guess. But just plain stupid, lol.

theresa113 0
My blog is rarely about poker since I suck so much at it. Instead, I use poker as an allegory about all of my f'ed up relationships, work, life, etc. This way, I can legitimize my blog's existence.

theresa113 0
The most important thing about a blog is that you need to make it personal. The best blog that I have read is by writer/actor/director Eric Schaeffer. http://www.icantbelieveimstillsingle.com/ The second best blog is by a guy who recently broke my heart so for now, I am not going to recommend it. CBass1724 1
I just wanted to make mine strictly about poker. Other than that, my life is not worth writing about or boring people of the details that go on, other than poker.I did get to see Guns 'N Roses on Monday night in Baltimore. Sebastian Bach of Skid Row opened, along with the Suicide Girls. Axl was pretty good. Those chicks basically dance around naked with pasties on and try to act out scenes. It was kind of retarded, but ok to look at.

BeaverStyle 1
I suggest recording your results of your sessions/sngs/mtts in a database/spreadsheet, or a get a poker program that does such things.I keep hearing how all these winning players on FCP do this, it's gotta help somehow.I tried, but cold-decks are unavoidable at times.Post your results in your blogs... specific big hands in your MTT's, SnGs, Cash games... etc... people may/may not comment, but it'll help you analyze your own hands, as well.GL, and once again I say, nice avatar. CBass1724 1
I am here for my avatar. I figure if I can help out one person, then my work is done. I am sure many people won't read it. But if I play poorly and have it written out in front of me, then I can try to fix my mistakes and see where I went wrong.I just try to get that big win and play over my bankroll. I guess they call that "taking my shot". I normally shoot and miss after awhile. If I shoot on my gf's face afterward, then all is good.
