Why would this be competition for stacked? Isnt this going to be an online poker site not a video game? I havent really read anything about it but Ive always gotten the impression from there ads it will be a real poker site not a game.

Im in the beta right now, they're only running freerolls from time to time, can't wait for real money tables. Its pretty slick, with a nice change from the ordinary. Runs pretty good too, and I have an older system.

I've got the Beta program as well.Got it yesterday or the day before actually. It's actually pretty cool, but only being play money it got boring quickly. It should be interesting when you get people playing for real stakes, and showing personalities at the table at the same time.

Yeah, I can't wait to be able to create my own avatar and use it in a live game. It's going to drive others Nutz! :D:club:

i downloaded the beta yesterday and played some free rolls for an hour. 440mb to download and it took a while for it to complete ( 25 min) The only part i liked is how in depth the customizing of your character/avatar is. I didnt see anyone at my tables who looked alike. The play is kind of slow, and the beats i was recieving made a bad impression on me. Top pairs losing to river trips 3 times in a row, and 2 runner runner flushes left me with a sour taste in my mouth. Dont think i will be a real money customer of theirs.

So it has alot of the same elements as live poker, giving off tells, etc?
Not exactly, although you could say or do things to maybe coax people. And you have to remember your cards, so re-checking them can be a tell.

the 3d games seem nice and all but i still think i would prefer the speed of a simple poker program to all the nuances of Stacked and this upcoming program. I might have to try and see if the slower play is bearable if real money is on the line though. To me when internet poker tries to emulate live play it will always fail because it is fake. There are things at a real poker table that you will never experience in a video game. part of the fun of going to a room is the atmosphere that you enter into and that is almost impossible looking at a 18" monitor from your office.I think online poker should be quick and easy so we can put our money into action and play readily. B&M can have the gamble with the ambiance.
