i cant wait until next week when GOV is all like i dont even get why mcnulty is on the show.

The blood bank

baskets took a few episodes to get its see-legs, then was overall pretty good to very good.

I've slept on Justified, may have to give it a rip. I felt like I got sucked by the last FX drama FCP convinced me to watch (Sons of Anarchy), so I've always avoided them.

Sons was good until the finale of season 2, when they pussed out on killing Clay. The last five seasons haven't been worth watching, but here we are.

Watch Terriers. Only one season. Really good (with a mediocre finale as they tried to wrap it up). Might come back as a Netflix show in the next couple years.

Don't watch Lights Out.

I'm a sucker for anything FX. Justified is pretty great.

I've given the wire a chance with the first few episodes and so far its promising. I shall let it ride. For what its worth, I wasn't expecting gay gangsters & lesbian cops providing the sexy scenes. "Not that there's anything wrong with that."

I've only seen a season and a half of SOA, but Justified is stronger in every possible regard. Better characters, writing, acting, storytelling, chicks, and awesomeness.

Rough 7. Seriously.

Sklansky, it's time you looked yourself in the mirror and seen if you have what it takes.

SOA is gay, with men hugging each other and getting sweaty. It's misogynist, and sometimes when the female characters get too much power or ethics the writers have them sexually violated to put them in their place. The cinematography is boron and flat, and the music is an aggressive suck machine.

What I'm saying is, David Sklansky, isn't this the show you think society deserves?

First off, you've done a flawless job of selling this show to me specifically. Damn fine work.

I got through a few episodes, and it just felt off. Like, this bike was not really that racist. WTF? If I'm watching a biker gang, I want them to despise n1ggers and distrust Jews and whatnot, and the first few episodes just turned me off to the whole situation. Maybe I'll try again someday, but only if I can be convinced that they step up their racism.

My same issue with Dexter. IF I'm going to devote my attention to a show about a serial killer, I want him doing ****ed up serial crime, not a whinging exploration of his conflicts, while stuffing the show with a bunch of boring filler.

Yeah, that's my issue with the show. It's too busy being a Hamlet inspired biker gang with a heart of gold. If I'm watching a show glorifying the lifestyle of bikers, I want it to be Oz 2.0.

God I loved Oz. They just don't make many good shows like that anymore.

I watched the pilot of Justified this morning. I'm so high though that I don't think I really understood what happened. Basically, Shane from the Shield is a less energetic version of Trevor from GTA5, and Bullock is Bullock, but without the charisma and a lot more quickdraw contests. I'm compelled to watch another anyway. I loved Shane, I loved Trevor, and Bullock was fine in small doses. I feel like if he keeps shooting people at this clip, it could work indefinitely.
