Fulltilt Wsop Bracelet Race

Recommended Posts

FullTilt started running their WSOP Bracelet Race Satellites. These satellites pay out $2K packages. $1.5K in WSOP Lamers and $500 in cash. Since the money is in the form of lamers you can use them to buy into any event or satellite, not just the the $1,500 events. This is a great way for smaller stakes players to get in on the action even if they don't have the money to invest in trying to win a ME seat. The FullTilt website doesn't have the information up yet, but it should be up soon. Right now the schedule is: -$24+$2 or $69+$6 every night at 21:30 EST. (Usually NLHE, sometimes HORSE, O8, Razz, LHE) -$200+$16 on Mon, Weds, Fri at Midnight EST. (NLHE; with $14+1, $14+1 r/a, $24+2, and $50+5 satellites into it.) -$24+$2 or $69+$6 on Saturday and Sunday at 13:30 EST. (Euro friendly) -$24+$2 on Saturdays at 17:00 EST (Ladies only). They might add more if there is enough demand and will also likely add more as it gets closer to the WSOP. As far as I know, PokerStars has no intention of running similar satellites into the smaller events.

yah, I remember winning one of those last year. (Brag post) It was a nice to be able to play a $1500 event for $26. I remember playing it one night for the hell of it and as the hours went by, I felt that I had a chance. It's very top heavy, e.g. out of 250 people, only the top three get the package and everybody else gets nothing. it was a great experience, my first live tourny, unfortunately I didn't win any money but the experience was priceless.

FullTilt has a booth at the Rio throughout the WSOP. Just go to it and once they verify your information the lamers are yours to do whatever you please.
I thought they weren't going to have a booth this year because of the new wsop policy: "Harrah's is banning ads for dot.net sites affiliated with real-money online poker rooms that accept U.S. players – like Full Tilt Poker and PokerStars"http://online.casinocity.com/news/news.cfm?ArticleId=70689

all I got from that article is that it's banning advertising, not buy-ins... I don't think FTP or Stars would have qualifiers for the WSOP if they weren't redeemable...

I'm not saying it won't be redeemable, but if they are banning ads, they probably won't be able to have a booth with their name on it. That would be advertising for the site.Full tilt had said in the past that they would credit your account if you won a seat to the ME. That's why I was wondering. If the info is not up on the FT web site then how does the OP know?

Last year they didn't give lamers they gave three $500 chips. So, if you want, you can just cash them. I assume they will do the same thing this year. The guy was very specific in telling me that they were not lamers. It was kind of funny because the guy was walking around with a duffle bag with a rack of $500 chips in it. I guess if you'r going to walk around with $50k in your bag, then a casino is the safest place to do it.

  • 2 weeks later...

I won one of these on Sunday night. :club: It was a $69+6 and the top 3 got seats. The next day they credited $500 to my account and they sent me an email saying that they would give me more details as the WSOP approaches.
