weee, gonna prolly go to fallsview tomorrow...first time playing live in a casino...gonna stake my brother in some 2/5nl and am going to sit at some 5/10nl personally and let myself 2k to play with...if i lose i'll go back down to 2/5 and allow myself 1000 to lose before quitting...adjustments im gonna make are play tight and not bluff very much until i get reads and figure out who i can bluff...how are the 5/10nl fallsview games?
I'm sure the games are ridic soft. You have the right mindset going in. However, it becomes very hard for an online player to execute. Every time I play live it becomes verrrry difficult to not raise up every pot. Just know going in that its going to be excruciatingly boring...

i've only played as high as 5/10 2 times online so i think the fact that it's 5/10 will make up for the fact it's extremely slow ... i hope so at least...but i am really good at reading ppl and really enjoy just making moves at ppl when i don't believe them (live) regardless of my cards...so it should be fun

Just keep in mind, people bluff way way way way less live than online. They also call call call call way more live than online.Mark

lol @ iphone. (although i do love the iphone) I've had a pocket PC for years now that still does way more than the iphone. Mine is getting slow though, so I might have to upgrade soon to the new model....I posted that from my laptop though, we'd just gotten home from dinner. Super secret NoSup4U fanclub fact: When I post from my phone, I don't capitalize my name.Mark

I think I like calling and folding to a turn bet. It's unlikely that he's going to double-barrel A high here, so I think the play is to call flop and reevaluate turn.
