cwik 0 Posted January 17, 2009 Share Posted January 17, 2009 Got back from Vegas last night, so I just spent a couple hours catching up on this thread:- HU vid discussion: I thought the guy that made the "spaceman in a cowboy hat" series (danzasmack?) is awful at poker and I'd be surprised if he was even a winner, and because of that the first couple videos were awful. That said, when wiltontilt and krantz started doing guest spots in the series, they played some of the best poker I have ever seen. However, for people looking to learn HU, from what I watched in the first couple videos I liked the dogisheadup series a lot better. (please no one else start playing HU)- 10k posts: Rdog good stuff, that kinda post can not be repeated too many times. Mark, Rdog's content was much better, but you mentioned my name so I obviously like your more. I really really really think there should be a Mark BFF bracket. For sigs? Please happen on time! - Zach vs Palazzo: I don't think I saw this full story posted, so I'll give a breif summary... We went to the Palazzo casino durrrring our effort to spew our money evenly throughout Las Vegas. When we sat at the tables we were promptly carded and they asked for our IDs. Apparently Zach's was no good as they do not believe in Canadians. They dealer told him he needed a special bracelet to be eligible to donate money to the casino, and he could pick on up on the other side of the floor. On drunken principle Zach would not stand for this, and demanded a host go fetch on for him. The pitboss informed Zach that they wouldn't and they don't give out bracelets for being the 11th best LHE player in the world anyways. Security was rushed to the scene. Zach dropped some F-bombs, a S-bombs, and two C-bombs. The security guard, who was actually white gary coleman, told Zach they would not stand for this show of disrespect and he was band for life, then quickly lead him off the premises. On their journey, Zach shouted the casino was racist and later told the security guard he should go back to school. Zach thought this was very clever. - Tre: gg Tre.-Vegas wrap-up: I got pretty beat up. 5-10nl did not go well. As hard as he tires, Matt can not lose at poker. Zach and Ray are the biggest degens. I <3 Zach and Ray. Rod! Kobe2odem8 hustled the **** outta Zach in bowling. I broke my toe while racing troyomac up an escalator, he then pointed out how bad I run. I <3 puns. Zach thought this was very clever.The bolded was hilarious because I was still trying to colour up my chips (I won like 500 in about 3 minutes) and Zach was almost out the door and we heard him yell that they were racist, so everybody else in the casino now knew too. Also as hilarious was Kobe went to the washroom and missed all this, so he walked out of the washroom, and Zach was being escorted out by 4 security people, and Kobe's like "oh hey Zach".
