Sigh. Looks like the $ I have on my Neteller card is going to vanish into thin air along with the pending $ in my Neteller account.http://content.neteller.com/content/en/mem...inessupdate.htm"How can I withdraw funds from my NETELLER account? At this time, our ability to provide US members with withdrawals is significantly reduced. As a top priority, we are working to resolve all withdrawal issues, but in the meantime we continue to maintain these funds in trust on your behalf. Please check this page regularly for more updates. Why can’t I use my Gold NETELLER Card anymore? The Gold NETELLER Card is not available as a withdrawal option at this time.We are doing our best to restore our withdrawal options but don't know how long this will take. In the meantime your funds are safely maintained in trust accounts. We will communicate any updates as soon as possible. Why can’t I get a Gold NETELLER Card anymore? We are temporarily not issuing Gold NETELLER Cards. The Gold NETELLER Card is not available as a withdrawal option at this time. "Basically there is no way for US customers to currently get their $. Trading on the stock has been halted since the announcement to stop US transfers, which tells me that Neteller has little interest in continuing operations even outside of the US. I was hoping that a private equity firm would propose a buy-out, but it looks like this is unlikely as well. Not good.

I don't know. There are alot of threads on P5s; on one thread the Neteller phone support supposedly recommended requesting a check withdrawal, but it's hard to judge if any of the information is really accurate.

Guys, I am sorry, but this is one of the risks of dealing with a completely unregulated industry. You have no guarantees on what they do with your money. Your money is in a "trust"? Yeah, sure it is!!! Did the US Gov't action precipitate this? Damn right it did. Was it gonna happen eventually anyway the first time there was a "run on the bank"? Damn right it was.

Neteller is a publically traded company on the London Stock Exchange. They aren't "unregulated".

So, just because they are traded on the LSE you think when dealing with On Line Casinos and other Gaming Tranasction providers you have similar Reserve and FDIC protections that you get when dealing with a Bank? Part of the issue is that they ARE publicly traded. When there is a selloff and their bubble bursts and the stock tanks where do you think your bank roll is gonna end up?

No obviously they don't have the same FDIC protections. I was just pointing out the fact that they are a regulated and publicaly traded company, not some shady rouge site.

Like many other people, I have a thousand dollars on Neteller that is "pending" and looks like it might be forever.Does anyone really know if canceling the EFT and trying to get a check will actually help?I hope it works out, but I think it might now be time to make the official "We've been ****ed" thread and see who got screwed over the most this month.

Does anybody else find it ironic that steps like the UIGEA were put into place to "protect online gamblers" from themselves, but the DOJ enforcement of laws is causing online gamblers to be more vulnerable than they were before?

Just called netteller because I made an EFT. I'm Canadian and he said the problem with delays was between netteller and American banks and that my wait would be 4-6 days. Hope this is true. I just withdrew some money from FCP to netteller and then back into my bank account so its not like I had money sitting on netteller that could have dissappeared.

I just called neteller and asked them about canceling my EFT and request a check instead. The lady said that Checks take actually longer than EFT!!!She also said that it was our money, not theirs and they would not take it from us, obv.Once they reopen the EFT, they will process them on a first come first serve basis.

This thought just came to me,Is there any non-gambling site that we can transfer money to and then withdraw/cash out?"Can I still use my NETELLER account?Yes. All US members and non-US members will continue to be able to use their NETELLER e-wallet account for safe online transfers to and from non-gambling merchants and secure peer-to-peer transfers with friends and family around the world."

Apparantly, finding another Neteller merchant is difficult too (based on 2+2 and P5s threads). LOLNot sure about the peer to peer transfers, that may be a good option.
