wpex play is very different, if you can't adjust your style for how they play there like uber-arg-donks , maybe you should go back to where you were playing previously.

leloo multipassreading this article always helps me.http://www.tightpoker.com/articles/stay_off_tilt.htmlhere is the part i like :Before you watch Rounders for the umpteeth time and convince yourself that poker is a skill only game, remember that it wouldn't be gambling if there wasn't luck involved. World Series of Poker champions have been made by the river, so don't think that you're special when it comes to getting a bad beat. You lost $20, $50, $100 big ones? Boo hoo. Try losing $400,000 and a bracelet. It's still a game that is dicated by luck - and don't you forget it.Try to think of poker in this way: Luck is a mountain, poker is a big boulder and you are skill, running along the boulder trying to move it to avoid smashing into trees as it rolls down the mountain. No matter how hard you try, you can only adjust the boulder so much to avoid hitting trees. Sometimes the trees are just ahead and there's nothing you can do, while other times you can barely avoid a hit if you try with all your might. If you finally mastered this boulder game, you would eventually realize that there is only so much you can do, while the rest is up to fate. It's futile to try and control that which you can't. All you can do is position yourself in the best spot possible and hope for the best. Accept it. Really.Just. Let. Go.

Its a 50/50. Half are pretty tight, but half are the biggest aggrodonks in the world, They limp/4 bet with K5 off suit. Its ridiculous there.
Those are the easiest players to play against, IMO, with position.

Trust me, they are, BUT! When they flop a K with K5 and you have AK, and the river is a 5, it doesn't help one bit. It's like this, and I am sure you already know this, but...When the aggrodonks are playing super aggro and they MISS their draws/stupd hands like they are supposed to most of the time, you make a ton of money. But when they are rivering you left and right and hitting their miracles, then your bankroll goes down the tube. Im talking flopping TOP SET vs a gut shot draw, and the aggordonk decides to cap every street, only to hit the miracle on the river, therefore dissipating your roll. These scenarios have happened to me for the last 2 weeks, and it sucks big time when the aggrodonks catch.

I want to see that HH. I really do.
What he described happened to me 3x in a row once. Each time I had a set, I lost to a gutshot idiot capping me the entire way.I wanted to kill someone.I stopped playing short handed limit hold em' after all that.- Jordan

See! Then you feel my pain man! It hurts! lol.
I want to see that HH. I really do.
Why? Because you think I am lying? Or so you can laugh at me? LOL, I played on WPEX and they have the worst HH set up of all time, ask anyone. I wouldn't even know where to start to look for it, althought it shouldn't be that hard to find a bad beat similar, they happen on regular basis. It would be so hard to sift throught and find a particular one, just so you could laught at me, but I will see what I can do.Here is a dumb HH I found. It just shows that I played too aggr with AK, and paid for hit when I hit a K on the river. Seriously learn another game. It is refreshing. Some of the concepts from other games will help your hold'em game. You might even discover a new favorite... I make all my money at PLO8 now lol
word.corp. ive been where you are. trust me. stop playing for a while. then come back and play very low limits again. or learn a new game. it is not going to get better. maybe you are on a really bad streak. it happens. you keep mentioning all these terrible beats. maybe you would have been a loser over the past 20,000 or whatever hands. but you ARE NOT PLAYING WELL RIGHT NOW. for you to be this frustrated its really imposible for you to be. if you had the emotional strength to run like this and get this frustrated and still play your A or even your B game you would not be posting about it here. youde be cleaning up mid or hi limits. you ever had a really bad loosing session and think im gonna come back from this? so you keep playing. sometimes you do come back. more often then not you lose more and more until you get so upset you dont care anymore and it takes, eek, i dont even know how i stop when that happens. you are on one giant losing session right now. you really sound exactly like i did. i went through all of this, to the tune of $800 dollars. i was not playing winning poker anymore. so i stoped. droped limits learned some new games. and poker became fun again. i lose one day. i dont care. i was a loser for the first two weeks this month. i was going to be short on my rent because of it. pftt, whatever, ill just pay in sklansky bucks. i kept playing as good as i could. even for these two weeks, there were times when i wasnt playing well. i tried to regonize these and learn from them. i tried my hardest not to play when i didnt feel 100% ready to sit down and pay attention and destroy the table. it paid off. the rent is secured and this might turn out to be my winningest month ever. im not bragging, im just trying to relate to you and show you what good stepping back can do for you.admit defeat. right now what you are going through is what seperates the players who "win" and the players who WIN.edit: i just saw your histories and that you posted them from 2/4. were you winning at 1/2 and are now losing at 2/4? the relationship between the two is funny. i kill 1/2 but dont seem to be able to beat 2/4 (im gonna give it another shot again soon though). acutary said he was breakeven at 1/2 but beats 2/4. ive heard simmilar things like this from other players. i think the play is very different between them and a winner at one playing the same way at the other isnt going to do very well.

No It was all from 2-4. I played the 1-2 games 4 months ago, since then I have been playing 2-4.

And for the ones how say omaha is the moneymaker, don't expect any miracles. For the first few hands you ll see people chasing everything against your nuts. You say "That's great".Then they will start hitting.Just as the hands you posted. They will call your pots,re-pots with 8 outs in a heads up pot and they will hit,you won't.Its all about long run.Keeping cool.I don't agree with taking a break.Just play right.I mean not the right you think it is.Just right. If you have the bankroll, sooner or later you will start winning again. If you take a break who can guarantee you will win when you come back?It has nothing to do with time.If you can control yourself and avoid tilt, long sessions are the biggest enemy of variance.****I don't know why i started that sentence with "And".

http://forumserver.twoplustwo.com/showflat...&PHPSESSID=this isn't the first time i posted a link to a gigabet thread. most of his stuff is really helpful. but seriously. this is one of the best poker forum posts off all time.take a night off of playing poker. read it three times consecutively. read it two more times tomorrow morning. take a walk. read it again and then play. if you start getting upset read it again.judging from your HH's there are HUGE spots where you can improve. concentrate on these as that is what you have control over. i wish you the most sincere best of luck.call me in the morning.

Really? I didn't see me doing anything too out of the ordinary. The hand with 33, I figured someone had an over pair, but I was on an open ended straight draw, and with the hitting a 3, I know I can win the pot as well, so I didn't think it was terrible. And I only called the raise after 4 other people, so I was getting huge odds to call. The AK hand was just something I think I might need to change. I almost always c-bet with AK on nearly any flop that isn't too scary. ( AsKs, 4h5h6h flop) What HUGE spots did you see that I needed to improve on? That is why I posted some, and some were just to show you how I either got coolered or flopped a set and got rivered. Thanks in advance all.I know all the low limit basics...-Hardly ever call 2 bets cold, preflop-Fold stupid draws with no pot odds (gutshots, sets)-When you make a hand, play aggr, especially the turn-Try to isolate weak players with reraises, when profitable-Position is VERY important-Don't call raises from SB or BB with marginal holdings-Don't be a donk

QJ off hand (straight vs boat)I don't raise open QJ off from early MP. I'd fold I'd check or call a bet on turn thereTHe flop is draw light, so the chance of getting raised is big on turn and fold equity is lowUnless you read him as peeling flops light and folding turns frequentlyjust based on no reads
