Who are YOU to tell ME what i care about. Based on your statements, its safe to assume that the following statements are true:1. I have played poker for longer than you.2. I have made more money playing poker than you.3. I have won more tournaments than you4. I will continue to do # 2 for the rest of my existence.

Saying "check it down?" is collusion:http://www.azstarnet.com/allheadlines/140189
The article you linked to has absolutely nothing to do with what the original poster was asking about. He was asking if it was cheating for 2 players to check their hands down when they have a 3rd player all-in. That's not what Daniel was writing about in that article. It's common practice not to bet into a dry side pot in a tourney in the hopes of eliminating the all-in player. Nobody can force you to bet at a pot, so checking it down is perfectly acceptable. Whether or not it's collusion if you specifically ask "Do you want to check it down?", I don't know. All I know is that just about ever tourney I'm involved in, when this situation arises, someone asks and nobody has a problem with it.At my regular card room, there are 2 guys (both very goo players) who are friends from when they were little kids. They have a standing agreement that they don't play against each other once all other players are out of the hand. If one of them leads out on the flop and everyone else folds except their buddy (who calls with a strong hand), that's the end of the hand for them. They don't say anything to each other, they just check it all the way down. I can't complain because I've gone into this game where I've brought a buddy of mine and before we ever get out of the car I say to him to just check it down if we end up HU in a hand. Daniel says this is cheating, but it's only in cash games and not in tourneys, so the outcome of that one hand really doesn't effect anyone else at the table. Therefore, I don't see it as unethical.

I do know. If it happens in a tournament, it's cheating. Nobody in your tournament has a problem with it because they don't understand.

No problem in a cash game.

No more "cheating" than making deals, splitting, or selling/trading shares in yourself
