Painter567 0
Anyone stay at the Hooter's Casino in Vegas? How far from the strip is it and is it nice or a dive? They have Chicken there!A herd of wild horses could not drag me back to Binions. I'm not really worried about the location. I'd rather have a nicer room and take a daily cab ride to the strip.
mulhs82 2
Anyone stay at the Hooter's Casino in Vegas? How far from the strip is it and is it nice or a dive?Had an hour long plane conversation with someone who stayed there. It was cheap, and fairly decent from what she told me. I also don't think it's that far off the strip.
missIdaho 1
hooters hotel/casino is just like a hooters restaurant, only with a hotel and a casino and a pool no matter where you stay, you're always far away from where you want to be(you may have to think about that one for awhile) you wanna play some poker? then forget hooters--their "poker room" looks like it used to be the janitor's closetof course, it IS right across from MGM which is one of the top 5 places to play (along with the B, the mirage, the wynn, and caesar's, although the venetian is giving everyone a run for their money now).hands down, the hippest place to stay anywhere close to the Strip is...the new Fantasy Tower at the Palmsjust don't even think about playing poker there (although sometimes you can get lucky and catch a decent NL game there)HR is already going downhill after Morton sold it off (IMO)you could even try the Westin right across from Bally's but actually why not just do Bally's? it's cheap enough (usually) and right smack dab in the middle of everything (along with the Flamingo, Paris, the B, Caesar's, blah blah blah)well, just have fun, that's the main thing I am actually planning on doing most of my poker playing at the MGM and Ceasars. MGM is my favorite for loose low limit NLH tables. I usually stay at Ballys and so does the guest I am meeting there. We both wanted to stay some where different and not have to pay $300 a night. mtdesmoines 3
no no noThe Hilton is miles away from anything. If you wan't cheep with great location do the Imeperial Palace for the strip or Binions for downtown.Yes, yes, yes. IP is very nice location. $49 a night and $2 hour poker rate? Can that be beaten? I've already done the whole touristy stroll down the strip like a dozen times.

Zilla 0
If you stay at the LV Hilton, you have one benefit if you don't mind hoofing it. You can take the monarail to places, and to get a pass for a week's worth of use is the same as maybe a round trip cab ride with tip...So positive about that, it hooks up from the Sahara all the way to the MGM...http://www.lvmonorail.com/

Sad to say that in 07, IP will be torn down and the last place on the strip under 50 a night will be gone gone gone.
