I wish a sexy barista chick would show up at my house with a mocha and a biscotti wearing only her apron and some vanilla extract on her nipples.
Wow that happened to me once.
You lucky motherfucker.
Wait. That was a dream.

Jeff, we are truly GRINDERS! We represent the FCPHA at the penny tables.
I figure it's the best way to learn the game and eventually be successful at the higher levels.
i respectfully disagree.i think the only thing penny tables can help teach you are pot odds and starting hand selection. these aren't difficult things to get a hang of rather quickly.but once you start playing for higher stakes, the people factor comes into the game a whole lot more. you'll be at tables where basically everyone knows proper pot odds and such and start making more advanced plays based on reads, flop texture, and implied odds as well.i really don't think spending any significant time at the penny tables will drastically improve you game.i actually believe a complete 180 of that teaches you the most. i learn the most when i play outside of my bankroll.when i'm in a 6/12 game, i feel like i'm the teacher. or at least the teachers assistant. but when i overextend myself and play 15/30, i'm the nerdy kid in the front of the class that wants to learn as much as possible.but hey, do what works for you.

Once the bankroll is a little bigger, I'll be hitting the big tables. And when I have more time to spend playing the game, instead of playing 10 hands here and there throughout the day.

The problem is that after 4 days of no general all the good conversations are like 15 pages long and I just don't have the attention span for it.
But those 15 pages weren't created in 4 days, less than 4 hours actually. It's been a good way to spend my work day.
lol, did you like my berating of people trying to make arguments about things they don't even know about. I love the one where a guy was trying to say that stalin was a liberal and that Hitler was a socialist. I was laughing very hard from the fact that these people actually truelly felt that they were right about those things. THe thread died before I could go after that alf guy on the patriot acts, the pat acts nearly sent me to jail, and if it weren't for me being able to afford a very good lawyer, I would now be part of the NJ state penitentary system

yea, I read the whole thread thing. He can never admit that he is possibly wrong, which makes arguing with him almost pointless
