I'm Moving To Vegas Early June. Questions About Mixed Games.

How low do they spread the mixed games out there, and what information if any can you give me on them. Thanks!
There's one at the Bellagio I hear. There's one guy on here who plays in it a lot. I think his sn is danielnegreanu.....In all seriousness, I've been to a few cardrooms in vegas and never saw a low limit mixed game......of course, I really wasn't looking either.good luck

Basically, they don't spread them. At least, not below about $200/$400. One of the casinos (I don't remember which one) had a $20/$40 mixed lowball game, but it depended on who was there. It wasn't going very often.Unless you have the bankroll to play some pretty high limits, expect to play primarily hold-em. And by "primarily", I mean "nothing but".

Is Omaha8 not regularly spread in the Vegas casinos?

You will usually have to ask them to start a game for you and you have too find people. That is if they can find an open table that isn't spreading HE. For the record, play NLHE and clean up - the people playing in most of the rooms are absolute donks. Playing 1/2 you should be able to average around $80 - 100 hour in the good rooms when variance isn't kicking your ***.

I have lived in Vegas for about a year and a half and have been to most of the card rooms on and off of the strip. The only time I have noticed a "lower" limit mixed game was at the side tables of the WSOP. And by lower, I mean they were still playing 50/100 or 100/200.

Actually, I think a pretty good low-limit mixed game gets going a couple nights out of the week at the Aladdin. Mike Cunninghan has talked about it on his blog, plus I have seen it going. You should call their card room and see what the details on it are. The number is: 702-785-9149

There are very few mixed games going on in Vegas, unfortuantely.Aladdin used to run a 5/10 HORSE and 2-7 every Thursday, but they no longer do that. There is a regular 40-80 game at Wynn now. It's the Bellagio game that moved over to the WYnn (A common occurence lately). They play Omaha/8, Stud high-low no qualifer and 2-7.The Wynn also goes in spurts with it's 5/10 PL mixed game. Sometimes it'll go for 2 weeks straight and then be non-existant for a month or two.Oh andyes, MGM has had a 4-8 HORSE game from time to time. Not a lot of time though. And I've heard of one over at Tuscany of all places. Again, not on the regular.Best bet, in my opinion, would be over at Wynn. The 5/10 PL game is a great cast of characters. Some of the best players in Vegas.Good luck.mc
