smoothcall 0 Posted February 1, 2006 Share Posted February 1, 2006 so im up at seneca niagara casino in niagara falls ny where they just had this 5000 buy in event. im sitting there playing a little 1/2 nl terrible game, but anyway i look to my right desperately bored and see a shortish dark haired dude with a visor and a back pack walking toward the 10/20 nl game they have every tuesday there, something looks familiar about this guy...oh yeah i know that dude, well i dont know him but ive seen him on tv, it feekin antonio esfandiari, the freekin magician.ok i played it cool but inside i was like holy frikkin crap thats the flippin magician, it looked like he hadnt showered in a few days, kind of had a rockstar thing going on. i didnt sweat him or anything, just kind of glanced over and checked him out every once in a while. man that was cool. I love going up there. The 1/2 NL games can be pretty bad sometimes, and I wish they would spread a 2/5 or a 2/3 NL game. I did play the 5/5 once, but the game broke up after an hour after I joined. Just so happens, the lakers were in town to play an exhibition game against some scrub team that week, probably the jazz or something (of course, after they lost stockton and the mail man).anyway, word had it that Big Shaq Daddy just came in to watch a movie, and all of my co-workers were getting all psyched up just to see this beast of a man. So his movie breaks, and theres a big crowd just looking and admiring this NBA all-star. I say to myself, "screw this, im not gonna just watch him leave, ima be a man and get a picture with this guy."I begin to walk up too shaq and his possy, feeling brave and ready to take on the world. I'm starting to get the butterflies in my stomach now. I ask him as my voice begins to squeak, "hey sha' ack man? you think i could get a picture?"Shaq "sorry kid, can't take any pictures without my agents consent." I was behind him in line at the Panda Express inside the store and while he was waiting for his order he was scratching off a football game card that they give you if you spend $25 bucks or more.
