doublemeup 0
Chillax man. Learn to get flamed. What does newbie have anything to do with it? 2.6 billion meaningless threads that are posted in the general forum are posted by newbs. Thats what it has to do with it.Again why is this a meaningless thread?I think it's a valid question on why people prefer these 2 types of games.Alot of people are answering it and getting information.Just because you think it's meaningless we all have to think that?GO AWAY LOSER!BTW:Most people are tired of them and i was making a harmless joke. Most people are tired of replies like you give because you do not like the topic at hand....SORRY!Chillax newbThe moral of the story is there's no point handing "doublemeup"s ass to him, because he'll just react with some pathetic remark to pad his post-count.FOR THE LAST TIME I WAS JOKING THE WHOLE TIME SO GIVE ME A F.UCKING BREAK! TheCinciKid 0
I play primarily Limit HE. Right now I'm at the 2/4 level grinding my way up. I had to take a major withdrawal a couple weeks ago or I'd probably be at 3/6 right now. As is, I expect to be there within the next few weeks.I also play a good number of NL Tournaments and SnG's. I'm a winner in tournaments so far, but by no means a great tournament player (yet). I also consider myself proficient at SnG's. I suck at NL cash games so I don't really play them anymore. I've also been playing some HORSE and 7-stud tourneys lately in an effort to cheaply acclimate myself to other games.

ahosang 0
I play mostly 6-max pot-limit holdem. This is because it's quite a profitable game for me. NL is too swingy and volatile unless I nut-peddle. Limit is very difficult for me to play well.So pot-limit is my favourite game. The only drawback is that not many people play, and sometimes it's just the regulars passing the money around until some fish turn up.
Royal27 0
Why was i hoping against hope that maybe this was about poker in general instead of NL vs L?
m21s 0
Why was i hoping against hope that maybe this was about poker in general instead of NL vs L?So let me understand this correctly...NL vs L isn't poker related because both are played in poker. And it's a pretty general question.I guess this isn't about poker? It must be about cookies or something.

DPRCEO2003 0
I grind the 5-10 and 50-100 NL at Greektown Casino in Michigan.Seems as if this is where all the fish are.Soon to move to 10-20, when they ever open a table.I just refuse to risk my bankroll on the 100 min NL.good luck

Pros and cons. Why is such a simple question so difficult for you to understand? Please answer that. Not sure what you edited in this post, but anyways, You ask such a generic question in the general forum you're going to get general type replies.Have you even thought about cash games vs tournaments? heads up vs full rings??do you see where i'm going with this. Tell you what, you seem to really care abotu this thread so i'm going to be nice and hold your hand while we do this.I play all kinds of poker, but if we want to boil it down i play holdem more often.I play 1/2 NL cash games online, i find these to be a real money maker. I play some limit online, although when i play live its about 90% limit, mainly because the casino i go to doesnt spread a NL game. When i play tourneys i will play NL about 90% of the time, and thats because they have NL holdem tourneys more often with more players than they do Limit. When i play HU i prefer limit, when i play limit cash games i would prefer short handed tables, and when i play NL cash games it doesnt matter, short handed, or full.My experiences with these 2 types of holdem are pretty simple, You find lots of donks at both games at any limits.although I do find a lot of players think limit is all luck, and they end up at the NL tables. Which is the exact reason i prefer NL online. Now, Pot limit omaha tourneys are a lot more fun than any NL holdem tourney i've played in, and if they would offer these more often, i'd be all over it. But unfortunately , I, myself, hate waiting around for a tourney so i end up buying into the 1st decent MTT i see coming up.Hope this helps eazz the pain i've caused you in this thread. Jordan 1
I've played all forms of hold em'.MTT/SNG/LHE/NLHE/SHLHE/SHNLHE.Right now I'm just playing NL hold em'. Ring or 6 max doesn't matter. I'll play short handed or full handed as long as it's a good game.I'm not really playing MTTs or SNGs at all. Just NLHE cash games.- Jordan
Guest
Usually $1-$2 NL, 2 tables at a time (sometimes 3)I'm still in school so don't have a huge bankroll so $1-$2 is about as high as I can handle as far as the swings go.

Royal_Tour 0
That wasn't so hard now was it?You guys are learning.Well, I tried, but now you continue to be a douchebag.. why dont you try getting a ****ing clue and start putting your "very generic texas holdem threads" in the Texas holdem section. If you want good replies for TEXAS HOLDEM, you need to be specific within the texas holdem section.Thats not so hard now is it?why dont you start another thread that has also already been discussed numerous times which is: "which form of poker do you like best, and which do u think requires more skill" because you might find your answer to why people are giving you jopke replies
