Pot Odds RAC 23 Posted February 9, 2008 Share Posted February 9, 2008 Finally found the time to watch this.It was a B- or C+ for me. Maria Bello was fun to look at. But the acting was really pretty poor in this thing. Not terribly well directed. The story line wasn't really compelling. I didn't "believe" the love story and Macey nailed the loser part of his character, but he didn't have the charisma to carry the flip side of the coin when Lady Luck showed up. They never closed the loop on his kid or why Baldwin claimed that he owed the cash.Pretty disappointing. Link to post Share on other sites

However, this movie permanently cemented William H. Macy as an anti-badass.
