My whole point was that I really enjoy this Forum and I would really love to see it remain a quality place to talk poker and other things.But I had concern that it was spiralling into NWP and I wanted to voice that and see what people thought and hopefully develop some ideas that are usable.I wasn't trying to get DreamClown dickriders to join my cause. Nor was I mocking anyone who regularly posts on this forum.My issue is with people whoFlame for the sake of flamingBash DN for no reason or without valid causeDefend DN blindlyGang up on Newbs because you canWe should be nicer to new posters, especially those who actually make good points or at least type like normal human beings. Daniel is a classy guy who is very inclusive with his fans and detractors, why should we his fans be different?I think this post is a lot more likely to get the desired response than your original , which was a little on the belligerent side. I haven't seen a lot of ganging up on newbies, etc where it hasn't been deserved (for example....new poster comes on saying DN is soooooo 2004) The flamers that I see are mostly newer/younger posters with an excess of testosterone. I certainly am a DN fan and like his play, and I also was probably the first person to post a thread regarding Dreamclown and got totally flamed for it. My intention for the posting was for DN and forum members to address the original issue which was their assessment about DC not wanting to play DN with a short stack and wanted to discuss with forum members the advantages or disadvanges of it. But the thread quickly turned to flaming because im a noob and so forth. I really thought the forum was for talking poker and strategy, but as it turns out, FCP vets are always flaming for the sake of flaming and for some reason a lot simply think they are better than others.
