I've never been allergic to anything but have responded to numerous emergency calls which were allergy related, scary stuff.I'm just glad I haven't had to call 911. I drove myself last time, which was stupid, but I made it before anything terrible happened. Unfortunately, the allergy testing came out negative for any specific substance. I had some blood drawn for labs which will tell me if the cause of my problem is unknown or auto-immune. The treatment is the same so the result is academic, but I'm interested. The allergist did change up my meds and give me a couple plans of attack specific to my symptoms at the time. Hopefully I won't have to worry about it for a while. Link to post Share on other sites

Other than that, I stay home in the A/C since it's like 100 degrees every day.They're making us rebid for shifts at work.Again.Pretty sure I'm getting screwed.Again.Yes, at work. Not in a good way.What is up with all the rebids??? Maybe folks will quit and that will mean more tips for you? It's been ridiculous hot here, too. I was lucky enough to spend 10 days out of the midwest heatwave in CA. My life has been pretty slow, too, aside of the trip. That should change when work and school start up. The sucky thing is that you can't leave them in a hot car. They are big enough to be inconvenient if you don't carry a purse. Link to post Share on other sites

NorthPacific 25 Posted August 1, 2012 Share Posted August 1, 2012 Back to work. It was very nice to have some time off. We are down by 4 officers, which in a small Dept. is a lot. The schedule is pretty gummed up for the next several months as we train new officers. We have 2 new that started in the last week but they wont be on their own for about 3 months. Needless to say, OT will be had by all.I have officially moved into the new place. I turned in the keys to the apt. yesterday. I am very much liking the new place.
