2005 f.c.p. player of the year

Recommended Posts

Not voting for myself, just listing a few things. Final Table at the start of the year at the LA Poker Classic (7 Stud, 1st Stud tourney ever) says I got 3rd place but we chopped when we got to 3 people. My take was $16,492. http://www.cardplayer.com/player_of_the_year/index.php?name=bradley+williams&year=2005http://www.pokerpages.com/tournament/result10737.htm3 Final tables in Supers on Party, biggest finish was 3rd for $14,000.Won a satelitte from Party and took my dad to Costa Rica for a week. Got 31st in the tourney (paid 17 places) but we had a blast.Cash games - was having a great year until 3 months ago and the cards have slapped me around a bit. Hope it turns soon.My vote is for Pmjackson![/url]

Dont forget that in the WSOP, PM got knocked out on a sick beat by Tex barch. We all know that in big tournies, its luck based, so if Patrick wins that hand, all the luck that Barch got would have been transferred to Pat, and he would have made the FT of the WSOP

Heh, wait....I like this logic. If I apply it to Aruba, then if I double through Freddy, I win instead of him? :-)Yeah, Tex sure did use my chips well. Ha, I have to stop making it a habit of losing all my chips in big buy-in MTTs to people that go on to win $1 million +.Patrick

pmjackson your my boy.can we just stop the madness and give the man his statue.... that being said next year i might have to get my own.and yeah i'm not real big on the idea of posting while i'm in a tourney. i mean don't get me wrong i've done it and if there are fcpers in the tourney and there is a post i'll join it but i feel like i'm just jinxing myself. furthermore i think in tourneys alot of times you have to make moves that look real questionable if they are called... to say the least or vice versa have to make a call that looks real ugly and sometimes when i do that and am getting railbirded it gets in my head. I know i shouldn't but sometimes it gets me playing way too passive after i make a move that looks real donklike and late in a tourney is time for big brass balls. regardless i've done it before but now i like to take it down and then i might consider rubbing it in. That's what's great about poker I think i in the past couple months have been told i was a donkey and the worst player they have ever played against more than a few times by some horrible players who got their top pair sucked out on by calling down my bets. It's the best feeling in poker having someone on their heels and just seriously beating them until they fold or give you the chips by not having the balls to put the money in the middle while there hand is good. I'm digressing quickly... i'm high... i'm in sweat pants... and i'm at work in an office where i am supposed to be in business attire, someone please fire me.Anyway PM jackson i think should get the vote. I know a few of us played in more than one wpt, wsop event but come on the man actually kicked ass in one and is doing his thing on a regular basis.i think next year is gonna be sick. i know alot of are planning on making alot of money. I for one should be in sweat pants (yes these ones are velour) full time by june, hopefully alot sooner and plan on brining the pain in to each and every one of your living rooms. oh except alf i'm gonna bring the pain into your asshole with so much vengencance and passion they could make a hallmark movie.sincerely,Moses Malone

Hey Chucky....you are a great player (not as good as me...but..seriously...who is?...) I see that you have made threats on my A-hole....Ron Mexico and Royal will be very unhappy with this developement...Now with a serious question....will you be going to the 2006 WSOP? and do you think that if we started a FCP monthly $100+9 MTT that we would get anywhere near 24 players a month? You know...the list of guys that have scored in tourney's seems to grow.....you think that we can pull off at least a monthly $100 mtt?

finishing 10th in a wpt event is just amazing, plus he seems like an overall good guy, u never see him flame anyone, he is always courteous, even when he is criticizing...pmjackson gets my vote.

That guy Vatche is a total pile of excrement that i wish would die a horrible death. I always feel like stabbing him in the eye with a rusty nail when he posts.

Very good post Moses Malone. :-) I agree regarding the rail having an effect on your play. It's also a reason I don't feel very comfortable being staked/selling pieces of myself. If I make a donk move then, it feels like I'm letting too many people down. Royal - I'm holding you to the frozen yogurt/picture promise...Any way I can get one of you and Ron's 'action' photos? Signed of course. Thanks all for the recognition. I've always played poker for fun, and for the competition. That's why I primarily play tournaments; cash games are by far the more constant source of income, but it feels more like work to me. Too stressful, if you ask me. I enjoy the finality of tournaments, and being able to look back at the end and say 'I was better then 500 people tonight'. There is a clear cut winner, and a bunch of non-winners (losers sounds so harsh :-) ). Anyway, thanks again. Patrick

Chuck, I completely agree with your post regarding railbirds. Besides the PP 40k donkfest every night, I also dont like posting when I am deep/final table. For some reason I feel like I am jinxing myself and play passively.Alf, I would be down for a monthly $100 mtt if we could get 20+ ppl.

This is so lame. I'm sure there are much better players that post on here...ones that don't have enough ego to tell of how mcuh they make. This poll seems ridiculous and stupid. Oh well...go have your fun I guess.
You have nfc what I make.If my ego were really what I make it out to be, you'd know.

I'd be up for that...I'm pretty sure you can get 20 + people from the masses on here. Patrick

Heh, I'm still wondering how often I play with you in tournaments on the non-drunken Spademan id. Mainly a cash game player though, no?Patrick
