Vatche 0 Posted November 16, 2005 Share Posted November 16, 2005 loation: hustler casinotable: 300 buy in no limitstack size:1800opponents stack size:2100opponent raises to 20 preflop and i call with 9 8 flop comes Q J 10 he bets 100, i call...the turn is a blank...he bets 500 and i call...river is blankhe bets another 500 and i raise 1100 straight and he moves all in...its another 48$ for me to call in a 3500$ pot, but my opponent blinked twice and he picked his nose as he moved all in, and every time he does that he has the nuts...so why should i waste my last 48 dollars...i fold face up and he showed A K im so damn good, im sure Negreanu would have made the same lay down. PokerZealot 0 Posted November 16, 2005 Share Posted November 16, 2005 thats not that great oif a laydown guy.i folded top boat to a royal a few days ago. with 60% of my stack in the pot. the guy got mad at me and i said "its ok, ill stack you within the next 5 hands!" he was pretty much floored by my play, chyea! some other time i folded a good hand and one of my freinds, a guy who always has a hand, a guy who never went too far, a guy who once went out of the country to play, a guy who would never live in south america, a guy that lost his brother at an early age, a guy who is not too much older than yourself, just flipped out. If somebody folds their hand faceup making a big laydown, you can be sure as hell I wouldn't show them my hand, maybe 1 card just to make them question themselves, but why on Earth would you want to let your opponent know they made a good laydown?
