Its basically all pots odds/implied oddswhy did he call a raise with T4because he was getting 3.2-1hes good at reading people so it makes it easier, like his T8s called against Esfandiari, he explained he had him on a small PP meaning he was getting correct odds

does anyboyd on here like pokerchamps? My friend and i had a last longer bet on one of the freerolls and the software just looked crappy. Not nearly on the level of any of the other big sites
I like the cleanness of the software. However, given that there are 50 people online at any given time, I choose not to play there.

I quite like the software. No frills, but very efficient. I like the multi-table feature, though with 4, those tables can get pretty small. Like the poster above, I don't actively play there due to the lack of traffic.

His style (at least the part of it we've seen on final tables) works best in no limit and big blinds limit poker; generally in tight games where people are opening with a narrow range of hands. It' s a style that works well in a tournament (rising blinds) scenario. If you are playing small blind limit, playing loose like he does improves your hand reading skills if your BR can take the abuse. If you are playing small blind NL (live game, static blinds), then if your post flop reading ability is good and your table is tight (passive or moderately aggressive--i.e., not a table of move in specialists), then you can take advantage of your opponents. If the table starts to all play loose like a Gus or worse like a Gus without the pot/implied/drawing odds, then his style is less effective. For a real life example of this, witness the last WPT final with Danny "The Master of the Suckout" Ngyuen. Gus' style was less effective there.
Even Gus has many styles. Everyone knows he can be very loose, but all pros adjust to the style of their opponents. Apprerently Gus had to tighten up at that table, because Danny Nyguen was just a maniac. (and in my opinion the luckiest player to win a WPT event)
