I'm not shocked that he's catholic or that he identifies as catholic. I would be shocked if he regularly goes to mass and gives confession. He's catholic the way Hoch and Stew are Jewish. (unless they're rednecks or crazy) Given the hints at his politics, I would consider him a bleeding heart conservative. I would wager he identifies more as libertarian than Republican or Democrat. It could be a gig on CBS sports radio maybe. Or maybe he's getting a midday show on 790 they only have Hoch and Zas and Dan as hosts right how, I'm pretty sure. The fox thing would make the most sense, since he went on a "Vacation" for a month. It could be he was negotiating or had signed a contract and simply couldn't be on ESPN.
