AND RICHIE HAS MONSTROUS THIGHS   BE CAREFUL HE'LL GOUGE YOUR EYES   SCREAMS RACIAL SLURS AT BLACK GUYS   but out of love.. but out of love, but out of loooooove

Much like with Christianity, someday after I'm dead, when people are forming a religion around me, there will be a big split between those who don't believe in the literal divinity of my lifestyle and

God I love that Incognito song.

What about a 145lb MMA female wrecking machine Cris Cyborg Santos fighting a man, even a 125lb flyweight, not even a contender????

I heard the Big Voice rejoin, but I didn't know where that came from.

Also, when Dan was talking about minority comedians and said, "Only one ethnicity gets to pop," I imagined some sort of porn roulette thing. Like one girl with a bunch of racially different guys and the first one that "pops" wins and the other guys don't get to.

So, Suited, what did you think of the Bomani Jones segment on Wednesday?

I'll poison the well admit that I thought it was awesome. Herained down a fiery hell storm on the NCAA and Bob Stoops. I thought it was brilliant. Knowing how much you love college sports and hate Bomani, I'd bet you disagree.

I'm all caught up on the Aye Juan Wiener stuff and it is good.

The Bomani segment was pure buttery radio sex. I don't know what that means.

I prefer professional sports over college sports because the quality of play is so superior, so I'm not saying that the corrupt NCAA system is why I don't watch, but I still find it pretty gross. Bomani was just knocking over arguments like they were nothing.

I'd bet you disagree.

Disagree with what? That the NCAA is a joke? Of course the NCAA is a joke. Players should be paid. Bob stoops sounded like a moron, but he is right that they are getting something. College football players are not anything like slaves or hookers. They are being taken advantage of but easy with those comparisons. Pay them something I don't know what, but twy deserve something.

They only get what the school needs to give them in order for the school to get what they need from them.

If the players didn't need to make grades to play, would they still provide tutors? If the school didn't need them to be in top physical shape to perform for them, would they still provide nutritionists and strength coaches? Whatever it is that the players get, it's because the schools need them to have it, not because they want to give them these things for their personal benefit.

Like Bomani said, if we know that they can afford to pay them, what is the argument for not paying them?

Yes, but they still get those things. They should receive cash money on top of those things, but they aren't nothing. And that's why your average person is against paying college athletes; because while the schools are using them to make millions, along the way the players get access to some nice things.

I 100% think the players should get cash or a pension of some kind that kicked in later in life, so we're on the same side here trying to figure out to best frame our argument. It is wholly unfair that bob stoops makes 4 million a year and Adrian Peterson recieved no monetary compensation for his services while at Oklahoma. It's ridiculous and stupid, but an education and all those other things aren't nothing - they just aren't enough.

Basically this whole backlash against using slavery or hookers or w/e is just a backlash against the aesthetics of an argument. One person is trying to be purposefully provocative with the language used, and someone else (pretends) to be offended about the language that's used, stridently arguing that it's NOTHING like it.

The commonality between the slave, the trafficked sex work, the sweat shop laborer, the low level criminal, an incarcerated prisoner making blue jeans, or the college football athlete is that their labor is exploited. Getting bogged down on how football players AREN"T forced to suck cocks or pick cotton is just missing the whole point. There's enough commonalities between these laborers, that it should disturb people. That's the whole reason to be provocative in the first place.
