I don't know what's official, but I don't think it really matters in this philosophical discussion.Guy is notified, has X days to prove he's not the father, if he can't then he's on the hook for child support. You shouldn't be allowed to just cut the kid off. I agree it's kind of sucky, but this is his fault. He didn't want to pony up $500 for the test, so now he's stuck with 18 years of payments.There are so many things wrong with the legal interpretation of this, it's almost as retarded as the guy ponying up the money without making sure he's the dad. I mean, surely there is some way to show the woman played him for a fool. or maybe she really did think it was him. Regardless...she's a slutbag, imo.
