MLB stepped in and barred Steinbrenner from day to day operations when he was ruining the team why doesnt the NFL do something about Davis. Some crazy old man is making the roster decisions on one of the most revered teams in pro sports. GL getting any decent coach after trying to stiff Kiffen and airing all the direty aundry on him. Davis should have fired the whole staff in the off-season. They are wasting some great talent. Actually Davis should have died in the off-season.I can't watch them blow leads anymore. It's hard enough to win a super bowl in this day an age with 32 teams in the league.. with Davis at the helm, you're effectively competing against only 31 teams. Fans of all teams should praise Davis. Except, of course, for the Raider fans.It must be bittersweet for raider fans... the man meant so much to the team and the league for so long. He was the architect of one of the great NFL franchises... and now he's been killed and brought back to life as a twisted, crazy Lich. Someone in his family should have a competancy hearing. I understand that Al Davis is highly unprofessional at all times, but Kiffin didn't refute anything Davis said.Davis read the entire letter and gave examples, and when the Sportscenter guy put Kiffin on the spot he had nothing. But it's only because he knows that there's gonna be a hearing coming up that will determine whether or not Davis will have to pay him his entire contract.
