It looks to me here like he missed the flop, and was stealing. Most of the time if he flops big he will check to me as the pre flop raiser.Either way, if i am wrong, i have the flush draw to fall back on.This move will work 90% of the time IMOFlaming, let me know if you disagree....PokerStars Game #18987121274: Tournament #96578962, $5.00+$0.50 Hold'em No Limit - Level XXIII (6000/12000) - 2008/07/21 - 11:27:14 (ET)Table '96578962 15' 9-max Seat #7 is the buttonSeat 1: 2bank4 (804643 in chips) Seat 4: knoeffeckz (291483 in chips) Seat 6: Naps555 (1125950 in chips) Seat 7: aim-and-fire (136424 in chips) 2bank4: posts the ante 1200knoeffeckz: posts the ante 1200Naps555: posts the ante 1200aim-and-fire: posts the ante 12002bank4: posts small blind 6000knoeffeckz: posts big blind 12000*** HOLE CARDS ***Dealt to Naps555 [6c 9c]Naps555: raises 20500 to 32500aim-and-fire: folds 2bank4: folds Naps555 said, "nandos"knoeffeckz: calls 20500*** FLOP *** [2c 7c Kd]knoeffeckz: bets 36000Naps555: raises 84000 to 120000knoeffeckz: raises 137783 to 257783 and is all-inNaps555: calls 137783*** TURN *** [2c 7c Kd] [6s]*** RIVER *** [2c 7c Kd 6s] [3s]*** SHOW DOWN ***knoeffeckz: shows [Td Kc] (a pair of Kings)Naps555: shows [6c 9c] (a pair of Sixes)knoeffeckz collected 591366 from pot*** SUMMARY ***Total pot 591366 | Rake 0 Board [2c 7c Kd 6s 3s]Seat 1: 2bank4 (small blind) folded before FlopSeat 4: knoeffeckz (big blind) showed [Td Kc] and won (591366) with a pair of KingsSeat 6: Naps555 showed [6c 9c] and lost with a pair of SixesSeat 7: aim-and-fire (button) folded before Flop (didn't bet)

I think you are right. It does look like a steal on the flop. I like the raise to take it back from him if it is a steal. You had the flush draw to fall back on. If you were willing to call his all in after you raised him, why not shove instead of just raise? Either way it all got in the middle.

yeah i dont think there is much difference between raising and pushing in that spot, i made a very big reraise, and a push looks like a steal maybe

i couldn't close the deal, finished 2nd for $1044.The Guy absolutely killed me Heads Up, not much i could do, they guy 3 bet me 90% of the time, except the hand when i had AJ, and AA when he folded from the small blind. Thanks for the rail everyone it was a solid turnout from FCP.

Yeah he definitely out played me HU, but i was completely card dead, and he was probably being smashed by the deck. The sick thing is that ive been killing HU sng's lately so disappointed to barely win a single hand once we were heads upYeah i didnt need to rebuy at all, and then just before the break my internet connection went down for about 30 mins, so i missed the add-on.I got back with about 6k in chips about 3K below the average stack, so still had enough to work with. Was only in the tourney for $5.50
