precise148 0
Today, I've been on step 3 six times. I can't seem to get better than 3rd or 4th or 5th but I guess the bright side is that I haven't been coming in 6th-9th.Also, if you look at the step 6 players, it's always the same players playing even after they've gotten their Main Event Seat. What that means is that they know it's a donk fest and will out play anyone LUCKY enough to get to step 6.WHY DOES POKER HAVE TO BE SOOO HARD?!?!??!?!
wsox8 10
I just cannot get past step two..back to step one after A7<A3, Q3<62ran out of FPPs to play anymore.. QQ < AK.. can't win a flip to save my life.

Ko8e34 0
LOL! I just played a step 1. I was short with 1500 chips at 150/300, they both have ~5k. One guy raises like 4500, the other guy goes all in 99 v AQ. Dont know why AQ is so good there, but 9s held and I made it. Good stuff.
XXEddie 0
played my first step 3, got 5th, so i got a step 3 ticket backAttempt 2; Success1 step 43 step 3splaying another step
XXEddie 0
This step 3 is heading towards ultimate failure, but just an FYI. People in the step 3s are smarter when it comes to surviving. Blinds get to 100/200 and 150/300 with 7 or 8 still left sometimes
2bthebest 2
The number of times I've gotten a 3rd place/ and or gotten rivered is sickening.

precise148 0
Woohoo! Did step 3 six times then step 4 once and now I'm in step 5. It's not filling up so i'll try tomorrow. Here's the key. Anything from step 4 up, you need to pokerdb the players that are signing up as it doesn't fill fast. There are sharks lurking in those steps so you need to find out if you're playing sharks or fishes. I pokerdb-ed the people that signed up for step 4 and saw 2 good players and 5 players that haven't played anything with a buy in over $10, just like me! One of them didn't even have any cashes. So i took a seat and another bad player took the last seat. I figured my chances were good and I was right. I'm sure step 5 will be hard but we'll see. Till tomorrow... precise148 0
I wouldn't rely too heavily on that. I just checked my stats on pokerdb, and it was way off.Way off in what sense? Pokerdb tracks only your MTTs. Does not track STTs or cash games. I guess you can use sharkscope but most of the players in the higher step levels are regular MTT players.
