Fairly standard call, IMO. He's shortstacking which generally means he sucks and could be doing something weird here. You're getting a little better than 2:1 on the call, plus have 11 outs against a flush to improve. I think if you want to bet the flop though that you should pot it. I find you don't get much respect out of the blinds (I don't know why, I show tons of respect ot blind bets) and that a pot sized bet might get you some folds from better Ks. As is you are getting no Ks to fold with this smallish bet and will probably have to fire turn as well if the draw doesn't hit because your hand might be good and you need to charge the draws. I just think the 0.75 does little to define villain's hand and puts us in weird turn situations.

Regretable snap call imo, you still have 22% equity against a made flush and his range is obviously wider than just made flushes, you have to cal 6 to win ~17 so you're not folding.

What percentage would you guys put on this guy having 1. flush, 2. a better king, 3. a full house, 4. Ax, 5. something worse or stone cold bluff.Does 1. 50%, 2. 20%, 3. 5%, 4. 15%, 5. 10%Seem reasonable?

I think you're weighting flush and better K too high and complete garbage or worse hand too few.I think if you went flush down to 40% and Ax up 10% that'd be closer.

Use combinatrix analysis, imho.Download Pokerstove, and select the hands you think are in his range, and it'll give you the total equity against them.Trying to randomly assign weights to various hands is very pointless, because for one, it doesn't take into any account the fact that there's only one K left, etc, and more importantly, we're not accounting for the fact that we've got a lot of outs to improve if we're behind in practically every case, even if it's a better K, we've got a ton of chop outs.

I have and did run pokerstove. However, during game situations, you don't have pokerstove handy and you instinctively make these judgement calls. I just wanted to see how people would consider the weight of various hands.

QFT.I know im not even close to being on of the better players here, but you guys gotta stop relying on PokerStove so much. To me using it to asses hands like this isn't really fair. OP didn't have any type of program like Pokerstove to use during the hand. To me, its sorta like being results oriented, you are using knowledge OP didn't have during the hand. But this isn't a Hero call, this is a standard call. Only FH i see possible is 6s full, hard to think villian limped in MP with AK or K6. This could easily be just Ax. It sucks, but there is too much out there. Call andd cry when he turns over T9 of diamondsAnother reason i call here cause imo, this is one of those hands where folding the best hand would be WAY worse than calling with the worst hand here.

More than that, with the A on the board, our hand is KKKA6. Chances are really good that the river is going to counterfiet a better KKKAx kicker anyway in an unraised pot.

It's not results based thinking provided the range we give is based on prior information. And just because the OP didn't have pokerstove at the table doesn't mean it isn't a tool we should use. Sometimes the math gives results that are counterintuitive and if pokerstove helps us make the right decision, that will make us better poker players. I mean, the OP didn't have access to all of these players at the time of the hand, but we still post. Pokerstove is kind of like another player giving advice, albeit a very different kind of advice. There is a difference between using the knowledge of the exact hand the villain had, which obviously is using the results and is not productive, and just taking the information available at the time of the hand but processing that information in a better way, which is very productive.
