I read the thread, I was just a little confused because he was talking about an early rail call in a freeroll with over 100 people left.

I think that was sarcastic, mostly, and not the point of the OP. Very likely I'm mistaken though.

Has anyone actually made money of of freerolls?

I built my second bankroll from playing freerolls. But that was a couple of years ago, and I don't think they are as prevalent post UIGEA. Ran it up to a little over $3000 plus a trip to WSOP in 2006. Then withdrew most before Neteller shut down. I don't think there is much future in making money from Pokerstars freerolls, except the FPP freerolls.

I'm going to play a New Depositor freeroll on Titan this Saturday. Prize pool is $1200 and I don't expect there to be more than 500 people, so we'll see...

Lets move right into a similar topic. I remember starting a roll with the powerplayer 25 dollar free chip. Ran it up to like 500 or so and cashed out. I know there was a lot of success back when instantbankroll and other sites were handing out money. Lets hear some good stories and good some reads on this.

If you are trying to build up a bankroll from freerolls then the ones on stars are probably a better place to start and stars also has a better selection of micro limits tables than fulltilt for once you do cash.
